Judge orders Long Beach to rehire fired policeman

I don't understand why the rank and file police officers would be shocked that the city lost another court battle. I know that I'm not shocked. How often do we hear of the city winning a court battle? Lobstergate, Queen Mary, Home Depot are a few high profile cases that the city has lost in the past year. Does anyone know of high profile cases that the City has won this year?

Just don't put his crooked ass on patrol in the Alamitos Beach area. The police response is so poor here now that we don't need more slackers! Police response in Belmont Heights and Belmont Shores is great...whiter areas of course!

I believe their dad was a police officer, how humiliated he must be from what his sons have done! Nestor is going to have to move to some small midwest town to get away from this embarrassing moment once he completes his refresher training.

First off let me say to Pitbulls..t and STD (Fullerton CA) Do you really think anyone really cares where you want him to go? Do you think anyone really cares about some anonymous (scared) person writing about what they want? Be an adult and step up and use your real name or better yet why don't you go up to this Officer Ferguson (off duty) and tell him yourself about what you write about on the internet? Why not, I will tell you why because he is a Former Honorably discharged Marine and again a Police Officer in good standing with the city of Long Beach and these are the true facts of this case. If I were a resident of The Alamitos Beach area I would be demanding an investigation into this person cause according to his statement there are officers working that area that are "slacking" off in their duties. Also, according to his statement the police response time is "great" in the Belmont Shore areas because it is a "white area". I would imagine the community of Long Beach would want to know why white areas are getting better response time opposed to the Latino, Black or Asian areas.

Some people have nothing else better to do than complain against the police, oh well deal with it ... Also it is none of anybodies concern whether he will stay or not and leave his family out of this. You bleeding liberals wouldn't want your personal business discussed on the web nor behind your back

the truth will set you free. isn't it odd that nestor and joseph were being investigated for the same alligations but only joe got arrested. it just does not make sense. the only reason he got convicted is because he was side by side with bill in trial. it's funny through the whole trial it was all about bill and joe was only mentioned a few times. joe will beat his appeal. good for nestor he deserves his job back so does joe. if the fbi, lapd, lbpd investigated him and didn't find anything. why doesn't he deserve his job back? all you officers at lbpd better step back and show respect to this fellow officer. maybe if you walked a day in his shoes you might understand. the truth will set you free. bill on the other hand deserves life for what he did to his brothers, his wife and children, josephs wife and son, and nestors family. it's horrible when you think about what their families have to wake up to every day. knowing that a innocent man like joseph is behind bars away from his son. to all you cops who think nestor and joe are dirty, worry about your own life and do your job. and to all those officers still working patrol and were never brought down, how do you sleep at night?

Its amazing for the ones that talk down on the weak. But lets look at reality on who the weak ones are. The weak are the ones who's self esteem is so low that they have to bring someone else down to feel better about themselves. I agree with lbpdpatrol, Nestor should be left alone. Until you have walked in his shoes one can not comment. Im surprised cops will talk bad about him here and in squad when he is not around but to his face will be "welcome back" "sue them" "I have your back". There are several cops that I can mention will quickly turn their backs on you. Lets face it..trust no one. no one cares about you. You have to fend for yourself.

I look at the positive side of it and move forward with my life. No where in my heart am i seeking revenge on the Cop that ended my career. God hands you many obstacles in life. And like I said before "it is my opinion" to overcome these obstacles and be a winner. I dont need to be obsessed with trying to ruin someone else life.
