I was once threatened with being shot by an off duty Long Beach officer for 'touching' his car when traffic suddenly stopped in the crosswalk one evening. These city police are just a gang of thugs. No standards, no background check, nothing. That is what you get when you have lowered standards. I've personally experienced an experience like this, being assaulted by these goons before they even asked one question, or even said one word. I hope these thugs get what is coming to them. Police officers are usually undereducated, overzealous agents that are infatuated with control. I find this story extremely sad. This was murder and a theft of a person's life. A policeman behind a uniform and badge has no greater life or value that any other American citizen. I would love to see the police department raise their qualifications to include a college degree. These people are just dumb and out of bounds. If you think it is all cowboys and indians, good guys v. bad guys, etc., then just for a minute, step out of your self righteousness, and imagine that you were the person shot to death, or your brother, son, daughter, wife, mother, best friend, or neighbor. Murder is wrong. Murder fixes nothing. It is not Liberal v. Conservative. It is about being American--all of us are Americans. All of us deserve "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". This is our history. All Americans have rights. There is no group that has more entitlement or benefits or access to any of those rights. If you oppose it, then you are a traitor, and you do not understand what America stands for. If you support killing on one side over the other, then it is law of the jungle, and the jungle has no mercy. I will consume everything--including you that has no mercy.
