Whatever the law allows is one thing. Morally this woman should have resigned. Kids with special needs require representation from adults who are all there. Having someone with ADHD in that job is like having a surgeon missing one hand.

Sounds to me like Ms Callahan is a scam artist who thought she had figured out how to milk the system by claiming that this and that condition meant that taxpayers owed her a living without having to work. Then when this problem employee got dumped, an opportunistic trial lawyer whispered "lawsuit" in her ear. Now, even if we taxpayers win this court case, Ms Callahan is costing kids a lot of money for the defense that was supposed to go to education.

It is easy to cast judgement on another person but what about Justice and Equity? Dr. Callahan is a dedicated woman who has given her heart and soul to helping children with special needs.
