Mass highway Dept is mulling over putting toll booths on 93.
http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_new... If this happens I hope NH seriously considers putting tolls at the state line. Everyone without a NH plate would have to pay. That would pull in major tax revenue threwout the year on daytrippers... That come to our state to ski, shop and camp. Why should NH residents foot the bill for the Massachusettes Governments inability to keep within it's budget. Maybe they should consider downsizing their government workforce. Every state is suffering during these times. It doesn't mean rob your neighbors to the North. |

Hmmm. You know NH has had tolls for years on I93 in Hooksett, right? So I'd say NH is already profiting from Mass drivers visiting the state to ski, shop and camp. Now it's Mass' turn. Sounds fair.

Hooksett? How about in Salem?
How many people come into NH and only hit Salem and turn around? |
