"I'm no slave, but CHOOSE to serve God" But it's not a choice in your repugnant religion because you are threatened with eternal punishment if you don't obey the Slavemaster.
"Some people have a purpose in life" Tell me what the purpose is in going to "heaven" and prostrating and groveling before the eternal slavemaster for ever and ever and ever...oh, I am not worthy...for ever and ever and ever...thank you for creating me...for ever and ever and ever...let's sing some songs about how awesome He is...for ever and ever and ever.
That sounds like hell to me.
"which you have still not told us what your purpose is." We have only one life and each person must decide for himself what his purpose is. The unexamined life is not worth living.

Actually, a lot of people care. Some of them have informed me. You should try to think before making comments.

<quoted text>"but why do you consistently say Goes doesn't exist, when you conceded the fact that a God or whatever else can't be proven or disproven."

I say that gods are not real for the same reason that I say that the Tooth Fairy or flying purple unicorns are not real. There is no evidence for such beings, so there is no reason to believe in them. There is no reason to even suppose that they exist. There is no evidence, for example, to even define what exactly a god is. If a theist provides evidence, I will consider it.

So if your 8-year-old daughter ask "daddy, is the Tooth Fairy real?" will you answer "no" or "we can't say if the Tooth Fairy is real or not because the Tooth Fairy cannot be proved or disproved."
Speaking to an 8 year old child would be completely different than speaking with an adult. So that's probably not the best analogy, but I understand what you are trying to say. At any rate, do you know of any specific evidence that would indicate God is non-existent? Or is the "evidence" you use to base your claims on suggestive of something else not specifically concerning a God?

"Speaking to an 8 year old child would be completely different than speaking with an adult. So that's probably not the best analogy" It's a perfect analogy. Will you lie to your daughter?

"At any rate, do you know of any specific evidence that would indicate God is non-existent?" If you're talking about a specific god, like Yahweh, yes there is evidence that He doesn't exist. A deistic god, no. But there is no evidence for a deistic god and therefore no reason to believe in such a being. Can you disprove that invisible dog sitting on your shoulder?

"Or is the "evidence" you use to base your claims on suggestive of something else not specifically concerning a God?" What claims?

A child is not going to be involved in an adult discussion such this one. You are not going to debate with your kid like you would an adult.

Now, you have stated that there is evidence that "Yahweh" doesn't exist.

Your claim is simply that no God/Gods exist. Right?

"A child is not going to be involved in an adult discussion such this one. You are not going to debate with your kid like you would an adult." You missed the point. The evidence for your god and the Tooth Fairy are exactly the same. You claim that I must provide evidence to rule out your god, so you must also provide evidence to rule out the Tooth Fairy. With that kind of logic, you cannot answer "no" when your daughter asks if the Tooth Fairy is real. You must remain open to every ridiculous being that people invent.

"Now, you have stated that there is evidence that "Yahweh" doesn't exist." For example, Christians claim that Yahweh is omnipotent. If that is true, can Yahweh create a rock that is too heavy for him to lift? The idea of an omnipotent being is absurd.

"You are not going to debate with your kid like you would an adult." You should always tell kids the truth. There is no taboo subject. And above all, kids should learn HOW to think, not what to believe.

"Your claim is simply that no God/Gods exist. Right?" There is no evidence for a deistic god, so therefore there is no reason to believe. Considering gods like Yahweh, Allah, Zeus and Krishna, there is no evidence AND the claims about them are often ridiculous, logically impossible, beyond common sense.

NO! We're going to take away the politicians and their unions that allow your hero's like Dan Savage anywhere within 50 miles of the public schools. In other words we're cutting the head off the dog not the tale. Just set on your lazy ass eating cheetos and watch it happen.

Ask the public sector union workers in Wisconsin. Read yesterday's Supreme Court ruling concerning public sector unions. The come back and tell me it's a tale.

I don't ever recall saying that I had a God, but if you must alter people's words in order to make a mute point then so be it. I only ask of you what you ask of the religious folks, where is your evidence, or lack thereof? Nothing you say has the substance to account for true rationality. It is faulty logic at best.

And seriously, the tooth fairy metaphor is among the worst I have ever heard, I actually gave you credit for being smarter than that.
