30 years?I agree!!I grew up on Chic-fil-a's.Dated Truett Cathy's grand daughter and built the damn things for years.Mr Cathy by the way was the founder. He was someone who had more faith than anyone I have ever met. It's even a one Piece sign when it arrives at the franchise and CLOSED ON SUNDAYS is on every single one that I've ever seen.

Heck I'm only 45 yr old and I can remember when nothing was open on Sunday,it was common knowledge or common sense do what needed to be done on Saturday. I really had no problem with that.

I would go eat there if there was one in town.
They have great milkshakes.
I think it's great this Company stands up for what they believe in. Most would just go along with the gay rights people and that's not right if you don't want to go along with that. Good for Chik-fil-a.

What I cant understand is why does so many people get shook up over someone standing against gay rights. Gays protest for it all the time. I would gladly support a Chic-fil-a.

This country has a history of suppressing something that is different. Women had to fight for their rights. African Americans had to fight for their rights. Now in 2012 gay people are having to fight for rights! Screw Chic-fil-a and their homophobic President. I USED to love chic-fil-a, I would drive to Richmond to get it. Me or my family will not support a homophobic business! I will eat at McDonald's the EVERYONE is welcome restaurant! Gay people will get their rights just like women & African Americans did!

Franchise? 5K is all they require. London, "eat mor chikn."

Love to help those politically brave companies. We could get maybe two? One at each exit. A golden opportunity brought to you by a Free America. Build it yourself in spite of the presidents' harsh, hateful and demeaning words about small businesses.

They are a Christian based family oriented business that publicly opposes gay marriage. So far, I have no problem with that. It's their choice.

But, they have publicly stated that they will serve gay and lesbian customers in their restaurants .

Funny how the desire to make money trumps their religious beliefs, otherwise they would refuse to serve gay and lesbian customers.

Money is their God.

YAWN, Chic Fil-A is of no-interest to me.
They are what- number 20 on the list of top 20 chicken restaurants.
and, I could care less what they or their CEO think or feel about people. They are a privately helo, family owned company and if they don't like gays, backs, Hispanics, or anyone that's different --- I don't care

BUT, let them discriminate --- and WATCH OUT.
We'll shut this place down faster then a Republican can spin !!

Money sure as heck is someone's God.

Lawsuits forced upon religious folks is why they must serve gays. Another infringement of our religious rights. Thanks liberals.

Good luck! They don't just let anyone in.If you'll notice when you eat there that MOST of the stores play modern Christian music in the franchise's.A practice that I myself don't really agree with but ,NOT MY STORE.Again,Good luck. That's one product that will sell itself.

I'd love to see a Chic Fil-A here in London; nice looking ladies serving ya with a smile, clean place, nice environment, and good food. They need to build a Chic Fil-A right next to McDonalds on 25 Main so those nasty, ugly, fat, dirty, rude, farty, "Mc biothes" know what a good fast food place is about.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Libra

Be very careful when handling financial matters today because not everything is as straightforward as it seems. For instance, someone may tell you about a fail-safe way of making money but neglect to mention all the reasons why it's totally illegal. There could also be mistakes if you're spending money, such as being short-changed or overcharged. So watch out!
