Regardless, it shouldn't need to be defended if there wasn't so many whackos on here, who are so Obama obsessed, they'd jump on a cracker crumb if it moved. I agree with you on one thing, I wouldn't put myself in the same group as the current or last President of US, I am way smarter then they are.

Haven't been on for the last three things because I have a job and a life, see how that works? Probably not.

The last "mad scientist numbers" conducted by the various military times, puts Republicans 51% Independents 33% Democrats 16% military wide. The numbers of Republicans has dropped two points since last year the Independents have gained 1 point and the Democrats have gained 1 point.

I know the Democrats have a shitfit whenever this is brought up because it shows two things that undermines their weird and silly idea that all Republicans are cowards.

The first is that Republicans are a greater percentage (signifigantly so) of the military then they are the general population which means they are overrepresented.

The second is that the Democrats are a much smaller percentage of the military then they are the general population.

By that argument if all three political groups were concerned equally with serving in the military the percentages would be the same as the general population, but they aren't.

So by looking at the percentages and using the moonbats own words for people who won't or hasn't served (ie cowards) what group has the greatest percentage of cowards in it?

Personally, I could care less for people slamming Truth. I have heard members of my family get called war criminals and baby killers from people in your political group over the past 8 years and the Democrats ran a candadite that called members of my family war criminals in front of Congress for their service in Vietnam. If you have such a problem with people slamming someone for their military service then you need to take a step back and look at your own party. You want to see it come out all someone has to do is mention Bush or Rumsfield served in the military and I'm sure you will be quick to jump to their aid.

SpeakUp, I think the problem most people have with 'truth' and his military service is that he is brags about it alot and implies that if you haven't served in the military that your opinion has no value. No one likes a braggart. I respect him for his service.

My opinions are valid and I have not served.

I live with a Viet Nam Vet - Marine. He NEVER brags like that. As a matter of fact, he is very humble about his service and was decorated.

My dad served in Korea and my family goes back generations (at least to Civil War) with service, including civilian service.

There is a saying among members of the military especially those who have actually seen combat.

The more someone talks about it, the less they have seen.

Something to think about.

I continue to stand with Truth. Reason being, I've seen how these vultures are and realistically, Truth has probably made one simple statement at one time and it was pounced on like a cat on a mouse. I don't think Truth's lines are long enough to really reflect a big chest.

Blue Dog, thank your family for the service to our country. I know one of my brothers volunteered when Nam was happening and when he came back, he wouldn't even talk about it for years, then he finally would answer some questions if we ask. These guts went through pure living Hell over there.

You know, Viet Nam was the first War ever to televised. Thus, the thunder rolled. That was, in my opinion, the first step toward behaviors. It has only escalated. And I feel the biggest wrong thing that comes out of mouths these days is calling anyone who is in disagreement "un-American". That can only lead to more problems.

The title of this thread is someone asking if Truth is on crack, a question and nothing more. Actually a fairly common question asked by both political sides on this forum,it just happen to be Truths turn. Next week it will probably be mine,and yours the week after that.

Many people do like to try to get you to understand their position on certain things and unlike me,are not willing to agree to disagree however that is no concern to me.

Hey, I like you too Satan64. I just have to dig back. Basically, it's all in humor. None of us on here are going to solve the world's problems. Keep your higher opinion of me. When some of these people stop their chastizing Obama, just maybe then I'll cool down. Check out ole' Blue, CyWe, etc....it's constant Obama bashing...constant. As for me, can't sit still on that.
