There was no artificial insemination 2000 years ago, dip-shit.

"Christianity tells you what a person believes." One of your few non-lies.

"Atheism is a religion" Yeah, and "bald" is a hair color.

"You collect money from like minded people to push your cause just like the Christians do." I've never collected money from anyone. You're a liar.

Christianity tells you what a person believes. Atheism is a religion pal... You collect money from like minded people to push your cause just like the Christians do. You have meetings to discuss politics and campaign for like minded politicians that are sympathetic to you cause. There's NO DIFFERENCE!
You spend money collected through various channels to pursue lawsuits, put up billboards and pay for websites. So, cut the SHIT!

There is at least one massive difference. You believe in at least one God. Athiests believe in none.

Also, per your definition, the Shriners are a religion, the Kiwians are a religion, and Big Buisness are religions. Does that make a member of a upper management in a large company who is part of a Masonic lodge and is a church Elder a polytheist?

You need to chill Blue, you are about to bust a vessel.

Also per your definition I have no religion since I don't go to meetings, pay into the progress of a group agenda or try to get someone to file lawsuits or run for office.

I await your senseless response.

If atheists would quit surfing the threads practising and preaching your ism all day long every day of the week then you might be able to compare atheism to "off, bald and not playing baseball".

So if we just stuck to scientific facts would it be sciencism? Really, trying to say that Atheism is a religion is just absurd. But hey, believe as you want just try to be adult enough to admit when you are not right.

No, my criticism is a RESPONSE to the unfounded and sometimes repugnant claims of theists. If you theists would keep your delusions private, you would never hear from me.

The world will be safer and humanity will make great progress when we leave the superstitions of our species' infancy behind us.

Atheism is a belief or doctrine that there is no God. I just don't understand why anyone would devote time to preaching and practicing a doctrine about someone they are so sure doesn't exist. If I didn't believe there was a God, I wouldn't spend time talking about him.

I don't believe that because you create threads about this on your own and you scour over the other threads to find the mention of the God you don't believe in. You're preoccupied with your ism. Face it---you're obsessed with God! You desperately need Him!

"Atheism is a belief or doctrine that there is no God." Only a minority of atheists take the indefensible position that they know that there is no god. Atheism is almost always a lack of belief in a god, due to lack of evidence. Provide evidence for your god and an atheist will be forced to consider it.

"I just don't understand why anyone would devote time to preaching and practicing a doctrine about someone they are so sure doesn't exist." God-believers, for example, commit murder and even genocide because they believe they have divine permission. Religion should be criticized at every opportunity. It is a constant threat to humanity.

"If I didn't believe there was a God, I wouldn't spend time talking about him." If theists would keep their delusions private, there would be no need for me to label myself an atheist. I'm an a-unicornist too, but I never use the label because I've never heard of unicorn cultists flying planes into buildings.

"I don't believe that because you create threads about this on your own" I have never created a thread.

"Face it---you're obsessed with God! You desperately need Him!" When I criticize Islam, does that mean that I desperately need Allah?

What a stupid argument.

BTW, the Christians aren't desperate about anything. They live through faith. You atheist fa*'s that try desperately to disprove God to justify your vile lifestyle are the desperate ones.

Really? Then why do you believe Jesus doesn't exist? Why have you built an entire religion (YES atheism is a religion) based on bible accounts?
If he ever existed then he does not any longer. THAT is why I believe he doesn't exist, and no his particles being recycled don't count. Elvis doesn't exist either, but they kinda looked the same, eh?

Atheism is an entire religion based around bible accounts? Really? So, atheism = christianity. Hmmmmm, THAT'S original. No points for you though, because it lacks sense.

Who said I was Christian? Apparently, using your words, you atheists don't believe in the accuracy of carbon dating unless it fits your warped view.
WHY would you care about and relate the findings of bones to atheists, if you were not a christian? OH, THAT'S right: They COULD BE the bones of John the Baptist<---THAT'S why. duh.

Yeah, well, they COULD BE the bones of Bill the breadmaker too.

No, non-believers don't really have issues with dating, because many of us realize that science IS fallible AND produces REAL WORLD results...like that electronic device you are reading right now.

What does not fit our "religion"? As anti-theist said: Even IF they were INDEED proven to be the bones on John the Baptist...doesn't prove anything...and you agreed that it doesn't disprove anything...and I pointed out that it becomes meaningless.

Bioengineering
Yhovah takes a powdery substance, forms a figure with it, and generates life within the figure.
Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Cloning
Yhovah anesthetizes Adam, performs surgery, removes a body part, and closes the surgical wound. He then takes the body part and forms another human from it.
Genesis 2: 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Genetic Predestination
Judges 13:3 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. 4 Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: 5 For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no rasor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.13:24 And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him.

Life Extension
2 Kings 20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the Lord. 6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

If they were indeed proven to be the bones of John The Baptist that means one more character in the bible comes to life. Imagine that! That fairy tale is becoming more believable everyday... And, that's a DIRECT smack in the face of little closet F*GS like you.

It is a far stretch, but it's a start nonetheless.

The religion created by Constantine was formed by the "opinions" of Eusebius with no record of standards, first he created the religious beliefs and accepted only the books that matched, several hundred to chose from.

Human history has allowed few religious writings to survive, replacing or blending making almost all unrecognizable. Christianity falls into that category.
