local PREACHER making fun of his church member

a friend of mine overheard a well known preacher making fun of one of his church members.
he said the lady ate like a hog at a social gathering.

He's not much of a preacher to make fun of one of his own members is he?!

I have no doubt that it was the truth. Look at some of those holy rollers. The preacher is probably got some kind of fetish about her.

and their wives are control freaks too. if they get a burr in their saddle against a person in the church, that person has had the lick.

What church has had much trouble the past year and mostly caused by the pastor and his family

Has anyone been watching paint dry, its more interesting than this, who cares who does what people on here talking about these things is why i will prob. Never go to church anywhere! It wont be because of a preacher but because of all the perfect people that never do anything wrong! And without a shadow of a doubt my blood will be on the hands of the people who are doing this! Let that role around in your head for a few minutes, how many unsaved people you are turnig away from every church due to your own personal revenge trying to make someone look bad to the world!! Thanks for making me want to go to church nowhere, i hope your proud of what you have done im sure GOD is smiling down at you, all of you that have posted negitve words about any church or preacher or anyone period! Sleep well after you say your empty bedtime prayers because what i do no about heaven and hell is that alot of people that think there going to heaven may not make it and it could be over something as simple as a comment made out of anger. Well thats all i have from the side of the person that wont be going to church.

Point taken…but please don’t sell yourself short over the stupidity of others. You are your own person and accountable for your own salvation. This life is only for a very short time and it can be very difficult at times; but a just reward is there for the taking if you devote your interest in what God would have you personally do. Participating in every gathering that a church may have or attending every time the doors are open still doesn’t guarantee a place in heaven. I am so glad that I am not qualified to judge anyone because I would be the worst ever. I do pray that the tale packers and instigators will search themselves and realize that their efforts are all in vain and very much wrong. Please pray for them because it is obvious that we all stand in need of prayer every single day.

Everything you say may be true, but, just remember excuses wont help in judgement, and even though some may be stumbling blocks and your blood be on their hands, it will be your soul who burns in hell, if you are not saved.Please reconsider.

i used to live in london in fact grew up there.all i have ever seen there is people who hide in the churches and cast judgement on folks who are not bothering anyone.just because you go to church doesnt make you a saint and above all.and just because you dont go to church doesnt make you a hell bound soul..i live in east tennessee now and i can tell you for a fact,i have seen most of the fine christian folk of laurel county out here with people who werent their husbands and wives.and wouldnt you know ,it was in bars and night clubs..maybe its a sign of the time but christians arent like they used to be..now days people who go to church seem to think that gives them free reign to judge,look down or belittle people and in the mean time go out and sneak around..that is one of the reasons i dont care for organized religion.i personally think that it is a dangerous thing

Not a member, but pastor Jeff Lewis and his wife certainly can destroy a church. have to say this pastor and church has lost a lot of respect within the community

Usually close to 300 on Sunday morning!!! Does that seem like doing BAD. I'd hate to be in some of these people shoes on judgement day the way they have downed this church. You know we will have to answer for the things we do & say.

I would hate to be in some shoes in this church. Leaders told whole congregation they were in financial trouble and a few months later I am sitting in their business meeting and find out they have over $ 400,000.00 in bank accounts. These men and pastor must also face judgement. Again, this is not hear say, I was sitting there and heard it for myself. Why lie to your congregation? We all face judgement myself included but if we can't trust our leaders and pastor who are we to trust. I would personally like to see a monthly report being a faithfull tither.
