If you like working 3 months a year, and never being able to draw unemployment due to quarters, its a great job! And to the person above you can draw unemployment from temp positions!! You need to do your resarch!! DUH!!

I got a call from Senture after putting in an online application today and have an interview on Wendsday. I worked for them during the Dtv switch thing and thought they were a great company to work for. I think the pay for doing that kind of a job is Great! I'm looking forward to working for them again, with jobs being as slim as they are right now I think a temporary job, easy, good pay, and benefits, is nothing to gripe and complain about. Sounds like some of you don't have families to support, or just don't need a job as badly as some of us.

HaHa you must have gotten thrown out or something,
Its a great place to work, I've been there through the last 3 contracts, yea, it might be temp work, but if you show up and work, you go on to the next one. I've been there almost a year with not much
down time. And the dress code is 'business casual'
but half the time they let you wear jeans and nice shirts.

What are you wanting to know? They do contract work for the federal government and the jobs last from a few weeks to a few months. They pay well, but I must disagree, just because you show up and work is no guarantee that you will be put on to work the next contract. However, you are still in their system and will receive notifications regarding future contracts. It's all personal opinions really; More testimonials than facts. If you go into it thinking it may be a decent place to work, then it will turn into a decent place to work because your mindset has made it that way. It's all in the power of positive thinking.

Bill Deaton and his sons own and manages it.

Census will start in the Monticello site first, and move to the London site in about 2-3 months. There will be inbound and outbound calls depending on which site you are at.

The dress code is business casual, as someone else has said.

This is a great place to work. They let you know UPFRONT that it is temporary, and there MAYBE some downtime in between contracts. They aren't shady or crooked at all. They let you know that it may be a few weeks before they seal the deal with Census. As of now, they have. Senture brings thousands of jobs to this area that we wouldn't have otherwise. I say we all be thankful for this, rather than bitching and complaining that you can draw unemployment for two weeks.

I agree 'another poster' it is what you make it,
you go in to do your job and help make it a good place to work, and you will enjoy it. No one WANTS
to have to work, but since you have to, make the best of it. I've worked a couple of call centers around here and Senture is by far the best of them
in the way they treat you. And you usually get called back for the next contracts unless you had
issues like attendance or production or attitude
on the previous one.

Anybody working for the Deaton's you might as well get ready for a screwing somewhere down the line. That's the only thing they know how to do professionally! Good luck to anyone who works for them! Times are hard but they could care less about any employee that works for them. They use and abuse!

I went to the interview..they fingerprinted me..took my picture..tested me on my Windows knowledge..keyboarding..and questioned my on my background for the background check. They said the job will start in London around April 23rd and run through late July. I am hired pending a background check, when it comes back they will call me to go to the job shop sometime next month for a drug screening. I love working for Senture, they really try to make it a pleasant place for thier employees. I won a $25 gift card the first week for my attendance. They are lienant on the dress code when they can and they are always friendly. I hope I helped the Senture hopefuls understand what to look forward to at least with the upcoming contract. I know I'm looking forward to working there again...working period.

LONDON, Ky.(AP)- A possible criminal investigation by the
Department of Justice awaits a London, Kentucky businessman who has several multi-million dollar contracts with the federal
government.

Bill Deaton has already been fined 240-thousand dollars for securities fraud.
Deaton has started several companies in the London area but now lives in Florida.
He was fined by the Securities and Exchange Commission earlier this month for adjusting the books of his former data entry services company so he could earn a 25 (m) million dollar bonus.
