I can feel her pain

As a mother I know what it is to do your best with your son, but they will always have a mind of their own. Doesnt mean that they aren't good kids at heart, but for some reason nowadays, kids are drawn to the "risky" things. They don't always play it safe or sometimes they really are at the wrong place at the wrong time. My condolences to his mother. My heart aches for her, because as a mother, I dread that same 5 a.m. call..

This article is all over the place. First it says the victims were forced into the apartment, then it says the father was watching tv inside and the son was on the back patio. It also states that the father and son were to move to AZ... but later it says they moved in with the dads friend Mick, while waiting to move to Texas. Hard to make sense out of this article. I just hope they find the scum responsible.

My condolences to Ms. Montoya and her family. May GOD give you the strength to deal with this pain. This entire family is in my prayers and Ms. Montoya if you read more negative comments on here, please ignore them. I don't understand the animals who post negativity knowing that someones heart is filled with sorrow. But, we all know these animals only do it for attention, and one day they too will feel the pain of losing a loved one whether it's from violence or natural causes. Keep your head to the sky Ms. Montoya.

The father and son were not outside. I read the article twice and saw no mention of Arizona. Our sincerest condolences go out to the Aguallo family and to Tyce's family.

I hear this story over and over again, and as a parent, it freaks me out. Parents have to be on top of their children, especially when it comes to their socialization. I would think that if there is a point where a parent is not entirely sure where their teenage children are - then it can really snowball into any number of problems. Regardless, we can't excuse the shooters, of course. Even if the kids were into something bad, they didn't deserve to be murdered.

My condolences to Ms. Montoya and the Aguallo family. I can't believe people would be so cruel as to post negative thoughts directed at any family member that has just lost a loved one. To lose a child has to be the worst pain we could ever endure. May you all get through this with God's help.

For starters it wasn't two as you say... it was three people forced into the apartment, according to the article. There were three shooting victims and it says that three men were forced into the apartment. It makes no mention of any other people present and or witnesses whose names will remain anonymous. I am sure you are correct in that is what was meant, but it wasn't clear and it was poorly written. And the article did mention Arizona previously... obviously it has changed since the update.

People!! Lets NOT cast blame on anyone. Raising kids today is very very hard. There is so much against us to allow us to parent our kids. Parents can't let kids out of their sight for fear of losing them. There is evil people roaming our streets everyday in every city. Kids used to be able to play or ride their bikes around the block. Now kids don't have that freedom. Thugs come up to our kids/teenagers and for no reason start a shooting. An adult has to be with them at all times. Still that does not gaurantee safety because of thugs walking around with guns. This type of crime is happening everywhere. This won't be the last of young kids being murdered. Look what happened to Jamiel Shaw Jr., a promising football star with plans on attending & playing football at a University, shot and killed in front of his home while his Mother is in Iraq. Another tragic event. Read about "Oscar Medrano" who sexually abused his niece when 9years old till 15years old. He was sentenced to ONLY 8years but may get out in 6years. This is absurd!!!! We need to have tougher laws for gang members and child molesters or we will continue to see more crime towards our youth.
Lets pray for Tyce's Mom and the Aguallo's family. My condolences to all the families.
