I have been seeing a change in how the police use the law against we the tax paying citizens. The police 24/7 think about law breaking people and how the best way to get them. This thought is embedded in their thinking thus way of life.
They are as man is an island whose thoughts just bounce back and forth in their police mind format. So when you get two or more of them together they share their new ideas on how to trap a criminal. They discuss over point where they lose their judgment. The have their shop talks.
So an everyday law-abiding citizen happens to be at her own resident having a beer sitting on the front grass on a warm day. The resident may have been pondering about the goals ahead in life and how to achieve the goals just only days before fall school begins. The resident falls asleep and dreams of this. The resident wakes up from the sleep goes in her house to finish the nap and the dreams she has.
A policeman named Dixon rap a taps on the door. The young lady resident’s brother answers the open door and assures the policeman that his sister is simply asleep and should not be disturbed. The police make it a point and insist on entering the property to talk to the young lady who is napping and walks in the home with out any authority from the residents of the home. The police disturb the sleeping young lady resident student and demands answer to his question. The sleeping young lady resident student awakes in shock to maybe this is only a dream. She awakes to the demands that he leave the property in a rude manor. The police called the fire department to assist. The young lady resident student demands the policeman to leave the property again. The police restrain the young lady and carry her to jail where they stripper her down naked and make her lay there on a mat for that rest of the day and night with out food.

The policeman writes in his report some of his learned shared ideas from "shop talk" how to make this a crime for the young lady resident student . So he simply writes that he was allowed in the home.
The next day Grand Junction police officer Dixon would have a day off and the young lady’s life is in shambles.

Everyone knows the police are above the law. Just as any other government offical believes they are above the law, so do the police. Besides, almost all working for the government have miserable lives, and it isn't fair that you should lead a happy life when they are so miserable. They are out to destroy your happiness.

Just a thought, maybe become a police officer yourself? Then if you are so perfect maybe you can make the changes that will make you happy. I am not a cop, nor do I know any. However I would much rather have police, then no police. They, I assume, have a very thankless job. Maybe if the young lady had respected the officer instead of freaking out their would have been a much better outcome. I assume the police were there for a reason. I've personally never had them show up at my house while I was sleeping for no reason what so ever. I am thinking that someone was concerned for her safety, or she had been suspected of something that brought them there in the 1st place. To all the police, this U.S. citezen respects you as much as I do our Troops. You make my life, as well as others much more safe, sane and consistant. Yeah I've had my legal troubles, but they were all from choice that I and only I am responsible for.

O.K. there are several Issues here.
1. the police were probably called about a colapsed, drunk, or druged person - unknown condition.
2. they don't know the brother from a hole in the ground.
3. they must know for them self the true condition of this woman.
4. the reaction of this woman was probably not will you please leave, it was probably get the hell out of here or slurrrrrred get thhhhhe hhhelll ouuuut.
where the officer made the decision that she needed medical or detox, an overdose situation.

This will happen more after GJPD had a man tell officers to go away after a complaint of a drunk man in his home breaking windows,5 day later they returned after neighbors said they hadn't seen him in days, found him in a pool of blood close to death.

CAN YOU SPELL LIABILITY?

The officer is not a Doctor so he has to have medical check the person out.

5. If she was In student housing the educational system also has rules that the person has to be checked out.

this is in response to 4 students who died after drinking in colorado schools.

Don't spout civil rights,Liberal,I can do what the hell I want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else.

talk to the friends & family of the 4 students that died that thought I can drink as much as I want it doesn't hurt anyone.

If this young woman was in a private residence, then the police did not have the right to enter without a search warrant. Did they have one?

Search Warrant, They don't need no Stink'n Search Warrant--- It's called P.C. Probable Cause. Definition: When the welfare or property is in certin danger the officer may enter to make shure that the property or person is not in danger.

For all you that have an excuse for such an officier must not live in Mesa County. This particular officier has a known problem for his "concerning" tactics and has been called on them in multiple occasions. Officiers are here to serve and protect the citizens and this is one reason we pay our taxes. Like this young lady that had such a horrifying experience with law enforcement, there are many that have come to see these officiers as harassing and humiluating. What do you tell someone that has panicx attacks when anywhere near an officier? That has fears in their own home because had an officier below their window just "hanging" out. Or afraid to drive because Dixon followed them miles until they pulled in to wash the car to have Dixon foloow them there to question them about nothing stating "he was just getting familiar with the people in his area". To bad it wasn't his area. So before you all defend that law enforcement in Mesa County, check into it and all the law suits that are starting to pop up. I have the upmost respect for the law and the people that serve to uphold those laws, but when you have officiers as such its hard to and who protects that person who can't even trust the people that are hired for that sole purpose?

BEHAVIOR I FEEL WORSE THAN ANY CRIMINAL THEY TARGET OR SEEK. IS THIS PROTOCAL? I ASK BECAUSE IF SO WHO IS THE WORSER EVIL, MESA COUNTY'S LAW ENFORCEMENT WHOM KNOW THE LAW AND AND RIGHTS OF EVERY CIVILIAN OR A CIVILLIAN THAT KNOWS THAT IN SOME SHAPE OR FORM THERE CIVIL RIGHTS ARE BEING VIOLATED??????????

I am not gonna stoop down to the level of blindly bashing cops. Please don't forget there are tons of law enforcement officers who are cops for the right reason, and put in an honest days work every day. Not to mention it's one of the most dangerous and thankless jobs out there. Bash them all you want, just don't forget there are lots of good ones that sacrifice for us every day.

WHERE OFFICER DIXON, OFFICER NEWTON AND QUITE OFTEN OFFICER SAWYER TRAVEL MAYHEM ENSUES. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A BOTTOM FEEDER OR BREAKING THE LAW TO BE CONFRONTED BY THESE OFFICERS AND QUESTIONED ABOUT SOME PHONY KNIFE FIGHT THAT NEVER OCCURED OR JUST WHATEVER EXCUSE THEY DRUM UP TO MAKE YOU TALK TO THEM. THEY HARRASS AND HUMILIATE COUNTLESS CITIZENS OF GRAND JCT. ON A DAILY BASIS. THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE IN THIS TOWN THAT WILL NOT CALL FOR HELP WHEN IT IS NEEDED DUE TO THE FEAR OF ONE OF THESE DIRTY COPS SHOWING UP AND TAKING THE WRONG PERSON INTO CUSTODY ON CHARGES THEY MAKE UP THEMSELVES. AND DON'T EVEN TRY TO TALK TO THE SHIFT SERGEANT ABOUT THE PROTOCOL USED BY THESE OFFICERS BECAUSE IT SEEMS THEY HAVE BEEN GIVEN CARTE BLANCHE TO ABUSE AND TWIST THE LAWS TO THEIR FAVOR. SO IF YOU DON'T LIVE HERE AND HAVE NEVER HAD TO DEAL WITH "THE STREET CRIMES UNIT" (WHAT A JOKE), DON'T BE SO QUICK TO DEFEND THEM JUST BECAUSE THEIR JOB TITLE INCLUDES OFFICER, REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED IN GERMANY WHEN THEY GAVE A MAN NAMED HITLER A LITTLE BIT OF AUTHORITY. THESE MEN DON'T HAVE OUR BEST INTERESTS AT HEART, BELIEVE ME.

i almost forgot to mention that if you happen to have a dog with you at the time you are approached and you love this animal you had better guard it with your life because these officers will use it for target practice and say it was attacking them and then, as they are so often quoted they say, who's the judge gonna believe, you or me? so not only do the citizens of grand jct live in fear of these officers so do their family pets.

when you leave your street only to see a police officer/state trooper/sheriff every single time (not just once in awhile I mean every time you leave your house)and one when your returning home for the day. When you have no criminal record, no traffic violations, have never been found with a DUI you start to wonder why....And this is abuse of discretion to the law abiding...But lies that others tell apparently work with the ignorant...

Not everyone breaks the laws and for police to lump everyone into one category isnt right...

I'll cut slack for cops trying to do their jobs if, when they make mistakes (like the rest of us) they own up and try to make amends.
But a recent case in Sheridan, Colorado, of a cop completely making stuff up, both on the record and under oath, has got me really heated up.
When the cops do things that are criminal, things have to change. And it wouldn't hurt to get a judge less obliging to lying cops.
I'm calling the city, notorious in the past for speed traps, out on this one, so you may read about it in the papers.

To James Mata from California, you might want to learn the truth of what happened with officer Dixon on the night you are questioning. That young lady who was asleep was witnessed by neighbors as unconscious and unresponsive outside of the house, she was drug back into the house by several males. The neighbors called because it looked very concerning. The Fire Department responded because of a call of an unconscious person in the front yard. Turned out she was extremely intoxicated, was very uncooperative towards law enforcement and those trying to help her. She assaulted several people inside that home and was taken to jail. There is always 2 sides to the story. Reason everyone went into the house is because of the original call of an unconscious person being drug into the house. What would you expect a law enforcement officer to do ? Not check it out ? Someone see's several males dragging an unresponsive female into the house ? Please Mr. Mata take your warpath somewhere else. I am assuming this was a family member of yours, but you must know that young woman who was very intoxicated has no respect for authority, she was lucky she was not charged with a felony for assault against the firefighter she bit.

But she sounded so innocent in Mata's sugary version. She only had one beer and then went inside to take a nap.
