With all the people from Mexico moving over, how could anyone believe otherwise? Especially with those people moving over coming with cash to buy $1 million mansions.

And it is foolish to believe it could crossover when it already has. Example just the other day, 5 Mexicans with throats gashed open in Alabama.

The Mexican cartels are already in operation here. Not just the ghastly slaughters but the kidnappings for ransom and many other crimes they're here doing.

"I don't think the Mexican cartels will confront U.S law enforcement directly. Any confrontation will be the result of them coming after targets in the United States," said Robert Almonte, a retired El Paso police deputy chief who is executive director of the Texas Narcotics Officers Association.

As long as they keep it among themselves, who really cares? Some Mexican organized crime family moves over, a few weeks later is found executed -- well it is not our duty to save them from the retaliation they deserved. As long as no Americans are hurt, this is not a big deal.

""The last thing they want to do is confront U.S. law enforcement either local or federal," Almonte said. A confrontation with law enforcement in the U.S. would raise the ire of authorities.

Almonte said cartel enforcers prefer to lure targets into Mexico or kidnap victims in El Paso to take them to Juárez."

So glad the Fed's are finally catching up with the real world. To think the violence hasn't already spread across the border and is endangering US citizen's, show's how far off the mark the nuts in Wash.DC are.
I think an outing is in order. All members of Congress, Homeland Security & anybody else that wants to come along. A weekend of camping, along the border, with no security. Dose of reality time.

"A confrontation with law enforcement in the U.S. would raise the ire of authorities." Yeah, because they protect their own but "serve and protect" the people - Naw! That motto has been changed to "lie to justify" your salary.

Stories of violent attacks, hate crimes and murder fill the media. Two young women were found killed execution style in Granbury and three Dallas children were shot in the back seat of their mom's Mercedes recently.

Atlanta police killed 92-year-old Kathryn Johnston in a botched drug raid not long ago and the carnage continues. An Ohio SWAT team killed Tarika Wilson and shot her one-year-old son. http://stopthedrugwar.org/raidpetition

Prohibition's legacy is legend in the waste of our precious lives and resources. Deaths and needless injuries happen too often in botched
paramilitary drug raids. Overzealous, unconscionable to the extreme, situations are occurring! http://www.cato.org/raidmap/

Ashley Villarreal: in San Antonio.DEA agents shoot innocent 14-year-old girl in the head, but deny any wrongdoing.
http://www.cannabisculture.com/articles/2998....

Rachel Hoffman: a young college grad, coerced by police to act as an informant after she was arrested for marijuana possession and then killed by drug dealers following a botched drug sting.

We all want, "Resilient Teens, Empowered Parents, Strong Communities!" That is the motto of Joy Strickland's Mothers Against Teen Violence, following the tragedy of losing her son Charles Christopher Lewis (Chris), 19, and his
friend, Kendrick Demond Lott, 18, who were robbed and brutally murdered in Dallas. Joy believes the war on drugs undermines the safety of our children.

Wait until our stupid politicians figure out that they too could be targets of kidnappers since they've got the big money. Imagine Shapleigh kidnapped and whisked into his beloved Mexico and held there against his will until someone withdraws his savings from his accounts?

So the report came out in May and it's just now being reported? I can understand if the Times missed the report when it came out, but is it even relevant several months later?

I would assume that NDIC, located in Pennsylvania
released the information since they are more
isolated from retribution than the El Paso
Intelligence Center might be. Not necessarily
all correct tho. They may have released the
information because the folks at EPIC would not
give the time of day for publication.

OK; Lets send some of our boys south of the border and drag the corrupt cops and military to jail here. Most of them are the shooters in these hits.

Why should it be? What's the point in keeping the citizens of the USA in the dark about these threats? Oh..."the little people" don't need to know is it?

Besides anyone with half a brain knows the threat is already here, it only cost the criminals $400 for their laser visas -- chump change when you're getting millions in drug trafficking, kidnapping, and extortion.

There is nothing at all in this that we don't already know and most people even in El Paso don't care at all what goes on as far as Mexico and Juarenos. It's not all that hard to stay out of "their" nightclubs here and we all know which ones they are.

Hint to the Mexican crime bosses: Just be careful not to hit any innocent bystanders or at least American citizens and we won't raise much heck about what you do here. Just like the 5 drug mules you killed in Birmingham, and our media will downplay it too.

Please use silencers because our kids have school and we don't need them losing sleep. You won't have to worry about our politicians trying to close the borders and making any of this difficult for you, they won't because they worry more about votes.

Again, just keep us out of it.

The cartels have been here for years, many of the 'mules' here are kids who can go with impunity to the schools and the parties and hand out the candy to hook the other kids who then resort to burglary, shoplifting, purse snatching and whatever gets the cash to buy more 'candy'. Some of the mexican chain stores and restaurant owners have been involved in drugs for years. They travel back and forth on a daily basis and since it is pretty well known where the border inspections are going to be the heaviest they just go to a different crossing. If as is reported CBP only catches 1 of 5 loads of drugs that means 4 loads get thru. Cartel leaders have owned the expensive homes on the Westside and the stash houses on the Eastside for 20-30 years.

It is crystal clear that IF, Mexican drug activity results in the deaths of innocent Americans, than the whole Democratic Party is to blame, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, as well as the Bush Republicans including El Presidente Bush. These are the criminals that have inflicted this on Americans. Big business shills who care not about wage depression, crime, overpopulation, and every other issue that negatively impacts Americans and their descendants.
