From a guy that happening to be from Tenaha, I definitely be believe it. I never like the Cops around there, always thought they where crooked, and still believe.

I live in a small town in Texas also and its the same here...when you file a police report and you're not white it disappears. My daughter got pregnant by a 20 yr old she was 15 we reported and wrote a statement at the D.A. and police chief refused to file charges. Now we are going to court because he wants joint custody but does not want to pay child support. Also they put a restriction that we cannot move out of the county. This just proves what concerned citizen has said is true.

I am from Tenaha. Do you know anyone from there? Or are you simply basing the lovely statement you made about us on a few articles you read? The population of our small town is more African Americans and Hispanics than whites. There is currently not a race issue in our small town. However, if the media and all of you wonderful folks keep it up, there will soon be!

My longstanding belief is to let Texas succeed from the Union, seeing as many Texans harbor a different definition of "American" as its northern brothren. They could keep their guns, kin-spouses, and death penalties and the North can remain free to progress.

Well first of all you spell it secede as in secession, however we do succeed everday here in Texas. If your Northern education only propels you as far as to mispell important words on these news postings then I would welcome secession, oh and guess what? I am also not a white person....Texas should secede from the likes of ignorant Northerners, but first you would have to remove the millions of Winter Texans that come from then North to enjoy our weather and our freedoms. So Don't Mess With Texas!

This does not surprise me. I live in a small Texas town and my family in another small Texas town and in both cases the redneck, small town, good ol boy additude is alive and well in Texas. They think because we have our own constitution that they can do any &^%^%$ thing they want. Go get em CNN! Expose this crap for what it is.

This behavior doesn't surprise me. Itis afterall, TEXAS ! Texas has one of the highest rates of imprisonment, lowest literacy rates, highest teen pregnancy rates - and the some of the highest numbers of evangelical christians. People who believe god causes natural disasters because of the existence of gays ! People who would just as soon spit on a black or hispanic, as give them a fair chance in life ! It is a cesspool of ignorance. Prosecute all the government officials in Tenaha. It is the only way to keep little backwater towns like this honest.

The DA sure looks like uneducated white trash, Let them tell there BS stories to the FBI, IRS and the department of Justice. The understanding is the sezure laws will be used against the three officers and the DA and a few employeees in the next few weeks. They are headed to federal prision with over 30 federal violatoions of federal law. texas courts can not help these communist sorry excuses for humans. Most of the moneys taken have been spent but the city has property that will be auctioned, new police cars,city hall and other property. set a good example for the country.

Your problem is not cops, but your daughter for not keeping her legs closed. Tell her just because plumbing is installed, doesn't mean that house is ready to be occupied...

They are obviously using the black cop to do this so it "appears" there is no racial angle. That cop is a sellout, uncle-tom, & house negro, and he should hang his head in shame. I hope he rots in prison along with the DA and the Mayor, etc. It's 2009 people, grow up.

I can't wait until the Feds come too town and drag your little hick town through the mud.

Im telling you that north Texas small towns are filled with Judges, DA's and Sheriff's that are all as crocked as a dog's hind leg. They are all in bed together! They put innocent people in jail everyday and then charge them with capital crimes so that they eventually kill anyone who speaks out!
