If you think he has more talent than anyone to ever play at LHS then you don't know anything about LHS basketball. He wouldn't even started in '90 or '91.

Well, was anyone on the 90or 91 team ever good enough to play for WVU???? If so, who were they. Just wondering.

greg bartram penn state, willie coleman was at wvu for a little while, then went to Salem and was the WVC player of the year 2 yrs in a row. Deandre Murphy had more talent than anyone of them, he got a lot of offers, especially from Georgetown Hoyas, Jeff Miller had offers especially from Marshall to play both sports and he went to AB, Dan Rush went to Bridgewater College in VA, Sonny Green Fairmont State, and a bunch more went on to colleges. One, they all got college degrees and are positive members of society, two, the 90 and 91 teams could have beat the 2010 team by 40 or 50 points due to the 2010 lack of size (they were ranked 19th in the nation), three, the competition in the state can't hold a candle to those years in the late 80s and early 90s, Steve Bailey transfered to PIkeville, won a state champ in football and was 2 behind Mr. Kentucky football despite playing at a Single A ky school, ect. ect. ect. Joe Chirico strong safety for 4 years and AA Ncaa champ at Marshall. I could go on for a while but I hope I've said enough. Bottom line, more talent then, more population = blowout city for the 2010 team. No contest.

Quoted for truth!!! The 90-91 team was incredible the starting 5 from that team were all more talented than that Noah kid.

Finally, someone who remembers 1990-1991, and doesn't think Jesus' middle name is Noah or Cottrill.

I too, remember the 90-91 team....they were ranked nationally, but what stands out even more than the team or the talent on that team was that they got the beatdown in the very first round of the state tournament.

Great team, but none of those players were rated at top 100 players in the nation, so you are wrong.

Noah was in town and he hung out in Logan and if I didn't see it with my own two eyes I would have never believed it but he was very well behaved and I was very proud of him. Look ppl make mistakes I think all of us are only human, he is young and very talented and I wish him well and NO his basketball career is not over yet:))) I think he will be just fine and make Logan proud!

Still, the overall talent on those teams, the JV teams even, could have possibly won a state tournament. What would have happened.....1 Noah does not get a lot of the half court offensive drives due to the overall size....A lot of his layups would have been blocked......2 This would lead to him being frustrated, which would lead to more stupid shots which would lead to a lower point production......3 They would have sicked Steve Bailey, Robert Minter, Sonny Green or Bryan Johnson on him in a rotation which would have led to greater frustration and more bad shots......4 him on that team, he had to play underneath the basket at a foward, which means he is guarding Greg Bartram or Deandre Murphy, which is gonna lead to a lot earlier fouls, which places him on the bench. Bottom line, blowout city..........They won it in 91. You just don't realize how much talent was in the state back then. They were 19 in the nation at one time and yes they got beat in Charleston by a Beckley team that had a very hot night and shot 75% from 3 point range. I was at that game. Everything they threw up went in. But, none the less, Yesterday versus today, no contest, 2010 and 2011 would be blown out by 40 points.
