Must have been pretty damn DRUNK not to know that he had HIT 2 people and left them laying in the ditch to DIE. Thank GOD for the person who found them. This man should have been arrested sooner. He admitted to DRINKING and hopefully this has taught the man a lesson NOT TO DRINK AND DRIVE!!!!!! I hope this man is never allowed to drive again, he obviously has NO HEART or he would have stopped. I don't buy this shit that he didn't knowhe had hit something. Finally some Justice for the Axe family. Get Well Soon Hunter!!!!!

Have you ever been a passenger in an 18-wheeler and been in accident?

I have. My cousin, the driver of the 18 wheeler, said, "Hold on, we are going to get hit by pickup who can't stop!" I said, "When?" He said, "We've already been hit!" I said, "I didn't feel a thing!"

So, even when no drinking is involved, it can happen and one not know it!

Since this guy was drinking, and he said he didn't know he hit anything, I would believe him.

Please understand, I DO NOT condone his drinking and driving!!

Driving a 18 wheeler is a monumental responsibility . More so than a small vehicle due to the size and weight of the truck + the cargo the truck is carrying ,There forth a special operators license is required to operate such a large and heavy vehicle which can kill or injure with the slightest of impact . Just one more reason why the speed limit should be lower for the larger and heavier vehicles which are sometimes carrying hazardous cargos too . There is a real difference at impact and Responsibility should be a key element for anyone operating a Tractor -Semitrailer . Along with responsibility , Accountability by the driver and owner must be enforced and held to a higher standard .

The driver of a commercial vehicle is held to a higher standard than someone with just an operaters license. If this man is convicted of these charges he will NEVER again for the rest of his life be able to get a CDL.

I agree with this higher standard policy, and would only hope that Law Enforcement and Elected Officials would be held to the same higher standards. But that will never happen.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Taurus

Everything seems to be getting under your skin at the moment, but this is no excuse to lose your temper, and you know it. Better by far to be discreet and plough on steadily, without looking to the left or right. If you keep your feet on the ground and don't get discouraged, there are definitely fair winds that will blow you along. It's just a question of finding the right balance between confidence and commonsense.
