Sorry for all the foreclosures. As an old-time Californian who remembers the
area so well, prices escalated to the point of self-destruction. Whenever affordability is removed from the housing equation, sellers cannot find buyers
and property loss results.

Looks like the banks such as Wells Fargo that hyped loans to illegals with matricula consular cards as their only i.d. created a real mess. Most of the foreclosures are in the barrio.

Yea, I don't know why this is up. The houses were
sold months ago? The Bolinas house was a great
deal.

I hope Obama changes banking laws. These banks
are holding on to houses like new Realtor s. They
are definitely looking for a profit. This site is
really out of date though.

Does this mean that I have to check foreclosure status for each individual address? That could be extremely tedious and time consuming.

I just tried getting info. on a house in Dillion's
beach. The agent demanded my phone number before
he, or she would give out any basic information.

A question for a Realtor; What the deal on these foreclosures? Do they need to sell them for the loan amount? They don't seem like they are under any pressure to sell them--most are cracker boxes,
and overpriced, except the house in Bolinas, but that
sold a year ago. God bless-

The beauty of living in my house is that it is so small and dilapidated that lenders know there is no point in foreclosing.

I am a listing agent representing Wells Fargo Bank REOs. I have listed and closed over 30 of their foreclosed homes in Marin and Sonoma counties in the past 18 months. Be an educated buyer and remove the stress in purchasing a foreclosed house.

Buy a Book. Build Your Business. Save a Home!

Instead of "helping" individuals with short sales of their homes, what about helping them STAY in their homes? All proceeds for the sale of this guide will be used to keep people in housing. Thousands of people have been seeking modified loans from their banks and/or through federal stimulus programs. Few are receiving assistance. I have been in that boat for seven months, to no avail. Perhaps this creative method will work!

As a licensed marketing assistant with NARePro and SBA NxLeveL certifications, I reduced an agent’s ad budget from over $85k to under $15k and brought her business up by $3.6 million in 2008. All methods used are in this 80+-page eGuide, available for $10 and instant download.

This roadmap was written for real estate agents to serve as a guide to develop national and international clients through the Internet and to better position their properties for sale. However, the techniques will be effective for anyone needing to step up their on-line presence. The book covers everything the author knows to be financially viable in small offices: Web site considerations (Naming, To Flash or Not to Flash), social networking (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), eNewsletters, and tips to improve your photographs (so often overlooked).

Additional information and a link for ordering the guide: http://terrapublishinghouse.com/publications/...

The Author: A small business consultant and media-marketing professional, D. A. Levy worked in a variety of roles at the San Francisco Chronicle. She is a photographer, Web content editor, licensed real estate agent with NAR’s ePro marketing certification and Small Business Administration NxLeveL certification. Please click to review resume.

80+ pages; $10.00, Revised June 24, 2009, 8x10 workbook format. ISBN13: 978-0-9822768-2-2
