Locust Grove Football

I could use this space to rip coach Scott but im not going to. I think we should get behind our team more the crowds are pathetic at best and the ones who decide to show up look like paper cut outs. I suspect Scott will realize he hasnt got the personell to run a spread attack that stops the clock every incompletion giving the opposing teams offense the whole clock to wear our D down that is already patchwork. He should also be recruiting those halls and getting every boy with two legs to come out next year. I dont care if he stays it seems no one else wants this job anyway or maybe they should give it to the wrestling coach since hes been on every losing staff we have had he might be a fine wrestling coach but i dont think his heart and intention is on football. If Scott is a good coach he wont read this but for me its way to vent after throwing my money away to watch us get blown out on our homefield AGAIN

I have watched 2 games this year both home games, both games we should of won. we didnt win either 1 because of turnovers reason why was quarterback made mistakes but that is part of football and he isnt the blame, coach should of switched for a differant Q-back.Now that is a coaching problem not a player problem coach might of been a great athlete but as far as a coach he hasnt shown me anything yet and probly wont cause i dont think he can coach at all.
As far as the players are concerned once they come together as a team they will win a few games and play with HEART and never DIE, NEVER GIVE UP ATTITUDE, leave it all on the field and never ever lower your head whether you win or lose always hold it up high, take that field like you own it whether its our field or the other teams field.

Is there anybody else out there that is frustrated with the coach. I am so tired of watching these boys get beat. It just seems to me that they dont have any direction from the coaching staff. The play calling is absolutely ridiculous. The coaches just stands on the sidelines and doesn't say a word. The boys have no motivation. I know these boys are capable of winning. Anybody have any suggestions???

I suggest you apply for the coaching position.

I am a sister to one of these boys and feel so bad for them. they are a good group of boys that need a good coaching staff to help reach their full potentials. i dont believe that will ever happen until they get a new athletic director, someone who cares about sports other than wrestling. good luck the rest of the season boys!

Idk the situation in Locust Grove, but I do know that Coach Scott did a great job at my school in Louisiana last year winning 4 games with a team that had very little talent. Just be patient. You guys lost a college prospect at QB, and Coach Scott needs some time to get it going again. He will do it there, or he will do it somewhere where the people will leave him alone. I know him, and he's a good coach. He will make it work.

the first qb wasnt that great he had a lot of mistakes too. This is coming from the boys themselves, he has said a lot of things to them that i dont believe are ok. I know the coach is probably under a lot of pressure to win, but most boys at locust are too lazy to go out for any sport, but he shouldnt take it out on the ones who are there willing to work hard even though coach is a pain.

Cache should dismiss the AD and appoint himself as head coach next year the current coach is a flippin joke on both sides of the ball Locust has enough talent to be at least a 500 team We had the talent to beat salina vinita mclain and collinsville line up and run the freakin ball block tackle win
