He aint my alderman

I live in Colarelli's ward and he doesn't represent me. He represents Colarelli or who ever he is working or lying for at the time. When he was a cop, he was against school referendums. When he worked for the school, whamo, he was for referendums. Now he works for Citgo and oil is safe for Lockport. He was never much of a cop and now he wants to run the department.

This guy has been a phoney since day one. He will look at you and lie in a heartbeat. I am a reader of Topix and it looks like Colarelli has his lie stained hands on it hourly. He is an attention starved psycho and over indulgent in every aspect of his life.

This guy came to my house twice, once against a referendum and then to pass a referendum. He isn't welcome to come back. We need to get rid of this clown in the next election. My neighbor is talking about running against this clown and the sooner he gets started the better. I'd even give him money.

And Colarelli's response is filth. Yes people this is the true Colarelli. He is an attention starved psycho. His actions have nothing to do with you, they have everything do with him.

Lackey? No just sick and tired of the same rhetoric each and every time something does not go your way. You are nothing more than a demagogue who's vendetta against Alderman Colarelli is well documented. April cannot come soon enough.

Another stinging comeback from a Colarelli lackey. You are as bad as Colarelli. Did he call you after his filth response didn't work? Are you here to save him?

You have posted on here looking for attention just like Colarelli. You must have something missing in your personality if you need to get recognition on Topix.

Topix has turned into a swamp infested with Colarelli posts. You are just one of the slithering inhabitants.

More filth from Colarelli. Even took my posting name. Yes everybody this is what Colarelli is really like.

I'll bet his family is real proud of him.

Everybody should do what I do when Colarelli comes to the door. Tell him to turn around and keep walking. Lockport doesn't need him and his slimy friends anymore.

Yet another stinging comeback from Colarelli's lackey. I wouldn't be surprised if the filth poster was you. You must be very proud. Colarelli must be very proud of you.

Just looking a Turner on the dais; he looks more and more like "Howdy Doody" as the weeks go on. I am waiting for him to address the public as "boys and girls" anytime now. "He thinks he is entertaining"!

Calm down folks. If any of you watched recent council meetings...it was Mr. Colarelli who called Turner a "demagogue" with regard to the discussion of the Cogent deal. The pot calling the kettle black ??? Look...go back and read all the trash talk a few knuckleheads on this silly forum said about the previous mayor and council....on and on..and on...and on...AND ON. Demagogues you say ??? Damn right...they all are...so get off YOUR HIGH HORSE about who is a demagogue. And by the way...I could care less what YOU think about Mr. Colarelli. He is what he is and maybe...just maybe...there are folks who don't care for him as their alderman. He DOES talk a good game. It's his job !

Question then, how much garbage is someone to take before they fire back? I'm not defending Alderman Colarelli he can do that on his own. My issue is with Alderman Turner who uses this tactic each and every time an issue does not go his way. He bashed the Wal-Mart deal in the papers, he used his influence with the majority to quash any development over the last few years, and ran lie upon lie in his mailers during the mayoral election. When he was called out for it he first blamed Alderman Colarelli then when that didn't work tried to besmirch Mayor Streit claiming he was a puppet for Alderman Colarelli. He tried to bully Alderman Deskin over Robinson Engineering and now he's writing letters to the editor over the police chief's job. Another interesting tidbit is each time an issue comes up he seems to have spoken with numerous people and they all agree with him, I understand that sometimes people do not want to get involved but why haven't any of those people come forward in council meetings or written letters to the editors? I would love to here their opinions. Somehow I doubt he spoke to them.

I quite frankly tired of his act long ago. In my opinion, he does not have the best interest of this community at hand. If he did, he would resign now.

He will run till he can't run anymore. He does all these things you mentioned and then starts a blog to talk about anything but the elections. Give us a break. Four years of his leading the puppets astray and not caring what it did to the community was all the public needed to vote him down. He is waiting in the wings to run again, better believe it. He is like a bad penny that never goes away and if indeed he wanted unity he would not do the things you mentioned. Some of us know all about him and it is not a pretty sight. The sooner April comes, the better.

He is but ONE (1) member of a city council...not the ONLY member. Like him or not he is entitled to say what he thinks ...JUST LIKE YOU AND I. Who the hell are you to TELL him to resign. Is Turner your alderman ?? If for one minute you think Turner is the only "bully" alderman on this council...best think again. There are "people" on this council that do EXACTLY the same thing when THEY don't get what THEY want....however they go about it. You my friend cannot see the forest for the trees. Some of these people come across shaking your hand with one hand and start picking your pocket with the other. Quash development you say...remember the numerous vetos that the last 'council' used to stop ANYTHING one particular alderman did not like ? Yeah...you know who I am talking about. Slick people can sell glasses to a blind man. Lies you say ?? Did you verify ALL the statements made on Streits mailers...or any of the other office candidates for accuracy ?? Yeah...I did'nt think so. Don't like Turner...fine with me . Bottom line is he has HIS opinions...JUST LIKE YOU..and I you ain't no genius...neither am I.

At what cost? You donít think that his continued rants do not reflect badly upon the city from outside observers?

Arenít you the same one who said

I am a taxpayer in this community just like you and as such I am voicing my opinion on this matter. Yes, Alderman Turner does not represent my ward he does represent the city, and as such should maintain a certain level of decorum when it comes to his dealings with his fellow aldermen. Personal vendettas should not be aired during council meetings and in letters to editors.

Then by all means please provide myself and the rest of the forum specific examples of this behavior from any other aldermen.

Vetoes are used by the Mayor not the city council. The council overrides vetoes. Can you point to any development during the two years that majority was in power?

Then you thought wrong . I do my due diligence on any candidate. That includes checking public records and speaking directly to the candidate. Anyone who doesnít is foolish and you know the saying about a fool and his money.

I have already covered this, if he wants to act like a local version of Alan Grayson then he deserves his fate come April. I still maintain for the betterment of this city he needs to go and the sooner the better. I never said I was genius; I am merely a well- informed citizen, the kind that drives politicians insane. Why because I want to hold elected officials to a higher standard and accountable for their actions. Plain and simple.

Your mother is "entertaining". She has a listing in the personals on craigslist as a Bukakee Entertainer - will work - Stag parties, Bar Mitzvahs, Mexican Fiestas, Rap Parties & Motorcycle Rallies. Group discounts! Use promo-code "spew".
