I am all for giving to those in need, as I feel it is my duty as a human being to help out the next person when I can. However, I could not believe what I heard yesterday. Several people have stopped donating household items to Goodwill, Salvation Army, Vets, and other organizations that try to help those less fortunate. Excuse me but when did people who have nothing to sit on, eat off of, lay on, or watch become so picky? I cannot believe that people would truly turn down things given to them for FREE! I guess beggers really do become chosers now. If I did not have any of those things, I would be grateful for whatever I could get, no matter the condition or if the owner had pets. It is more than I had before I got it.
