I for one am pleased this case is going forward. Last year when the civil trial took place and fines were imposed I thought that was the end of it. Not so. The AG is very firm on this evidence. He said, "We know exactly where the money came from and where it went." Neeka's name is on all the paper. Crooks really get sloppy. The world is their oyster until the shell clams down on them. We're going to need an entire Kilpatrick cell block.

Some have said Kwame besmirched the Kilpatrick family name. It must be clear now that they all be-besmirching. I hope I live long enough to see this all play out. It's going to take years. The authorities will have to let many crimes go unpunished for lack of evidence and resources to prosecute.
Nneka acted like she was entitled to the charity money as reparations. She still feels that way and will protest that she is being victimized further for being black. It's not joke here folks. The Kilpatricks honestly feel that they are owed whatever they can convert from public funds.

Wouldn't it be great to see Granholm and Kawmie vs. PrickSnyder and Bing in a steel caged match to the death. They could have Colman Young as the nakked special guest referee!!!

The Kilpatrick name trumps guidelines.
While the guidelines for her crime suggested a 40 month prison sentence, Nneka Cheeks only received five years probation. The judge cited her pregnancy, that occurred after she was charged. He also cited her prior crime free record (meaning she had not been caught before). Thirdly, he cited her relative youth. Nneka Cheeks is 40 years old and hardly a youthful offender. What she is is a Kilpatrick and that name still means something to certain Detroit area judges.
