The UAW needs to ratify this agreement.........after all, we are only talking about 2 years, not 20. Ford is merely trying to level the playing field when it comes to labor costs with their GM/Chrysler government-funded cross town rivals. Long term, this agreement will solidify Ford's position in the industry and benefit ALL Ford employees, union and management alike. Ford is producing the best cars and trucks right now in it's history. I work as an Independent Service Writer in a Repair Facility and I see what breaks and what lasts..........Ford's current line-ups are excellent vehicles, from both a quality and reliability standpoint. The UAW needs to take a step back and look at the "big-picture" on this one. Keep the strife out of it and we will all benefit, especially the auto consumer and our economy.
