I thought you all were against the health plan. It seems to me this would be good news for you guys. By the way look up Alexander he received over 500k from the health care industry. Corker took over 250k from them. Its not just 1 its all of them.

Look at Jim Cooper on the list he received almost 1 million himself, and Marsha Blackburn took over 500k from them, Jack Tanner took over 500k, Zack Wamp was pushing a million from them, and all of the others took some too. Also if you look at the contribution page these numbers were from the entire health care industry not just insurance. I don't undrstand how you can talk about being against the health plan on one topic and then get upset with the politician when he voted the way you wanted him too. Correct me if I am wrong but did you not say in another post that anyone who votes for this bill should be voted out of office, but not the ones who vote against it. So did he not vote the way you wanted. Are you just upset because a Dem voted the way you wanted, and now you are trying to get out of your earlier comments.

He knows that this the only way he can keep his job. Pelosi is allowing the Reps that stand for re-election next year to do this. If you really want to judge him, watch how he votes on the amendments, not the bills themselves. It's the same with the rest of the Blue dogs. These politicians quickly learn how easy it is to fool us. And keep us fooled.

BillChuck; You are right. They vote to keep their job not for what is best for the people. If they had to be on the same healthcare as we, they would sure change their tune. Why did we let them get anyother for themselves?

Dark, I am totally against the healthcare plan but, I liked the post because it shows how each and everyone of them takes the contributions. BillChuck..I realize he is concerned with his election. He still will not get a vote from me. I'm tired of the games and the good ole boy crap.

Of the 39 Democrats that voted against the bill, 31 are in districts that McCain carried. Doesn't that tell us something?

any rep that voted against this plan should be voted out of office rep. or dem. A vote against the plan was saying to the crooked doctors and insurance keep doing it your way and thats certainly not working. The usa is spending more money and treating less people than all other countries combined and we still have worse care than europe and many other countries.Reform is needed and it should not take a rocket scientist to see it.

I really shouldn't but here is a reason for those that want Government Run Health Care to be happy with Bart..... Bart made a deal with his boss (Nancy Palosy) He is on a commity of 7 I believe? In order for a bill (guvmt health) to move to the floor for a vote to pass it, the bill, must come out of his commity. He went against pro-lifers and fiscal conserv by voting to tip to the majority. Thus bill goes to House Floor for a vote. He is most defiantly on your side when it comes to taking money from those that work and and well you know.

Yes, we definately need health care reform but we don't need the reform that Obama is proposing. Read it people!!!!!!!!!! Reform is one thing, but this bill will kill us. Wake up people!!!!!!!!!! Read it before you make an opinion on this vote. We need to get it right this time and this reform is not right. Don't sell us out---------read it first. Please!!!!!!!!
