working n drawing disability

Agree, I know a couple of people who do this and I think it's wrong to. I hope they get caught. I've even thought about callin it in but I think they record the calls and it would just cause trouble.

If you are disabled you can still work 100 hours a month.it depends on the extint of the disability.I personally know a person who does this.they are truly disabled.I'm not sure if they draw their full disability or just a portion.

I did not mean anything bad about people with disabilities.I have rheumatoid arthritis,and am diabetic also,thank god I am still able to hold down a job.because I know someday that I probably want.I was trying to say that there are people who need disability,and get disability.that still hold down a job that allows them to bring in extra money.I know there are people who are on it that are in no manner disabled.they fake mental illness,they exagerate the pain that they are in,and they get their benifits.which only makes it harder for those who are truly disabled to receive theirs.I also appreciate you and every other veteran that has served our country.god bless you,and god bless america.

Atleast those doing this are working,i'm not disabled and i work eveyday but i have no problems with it.If they can work the system in thier advanage i say go for it,get over on this crooked government ALL you can.People working and getting disability pay because they have been hurt is NOTHING compared to big bussiness people and almost all politicians who sit on thier fat arse everyday and make a million.Plus on top of thier ridiculous pay they get free vacations all year long and new top of the line cars every year payed for by US,the taxpayers.Then after all of that they pay less taxes per thier income bracket than your average joe bustin his/her butt everyday in a sh!ty factory or risking thier life everyday on a dangereous construction job.Those are the REAL problems in this country not some fellow working when they are disabled.Bych about the REAL problems not this shyt,NOBODY could live on the peanuts the system pays the disabled but,a couple of families could live comfortably on the huge salaries of these people.THEY are the problem and THEY are the ones robbing you and me.

I don't think it is easy to get on disability.Most I know who tried maybe got 1 or 2 checks before they died and they were sick for yrs and denied time after time.

well if you cant see their disabled maybe they are mentally disabled they are two types you know. i dont agree with people who draw and are able to work 40 hours a week or more i know someone who draws and has their own business in ebay

Me and most of my family on disability but we good people,we work but get paid cash or in someone else's name.But someone needs to get all the taxes paid in don't leave it for them to send overseas.After I spend our foodstamps and get my vouchers for my utilities and rent I have enough left to live good.I think somebody ought to supply us poor people with a car and cell phone its a shame part of my money has to go for that it just ain't right.I don't know how we'd make it if I didn't sell a little pot and my pills tenn care sends me.

It would not cause you any trouble at all. Just report to the unemployment office in your area or you can call the state office in Nashville and they will contact the local office. Just tell them where & when & they will send someone to check it out and then the offender will have to pay back whatever they determine. I don't know if they get fined in addition to the payback amount that they actually drew, but you don't have to worry at all about bringing trouble down on yourself. Probably a good idea to not talk about it to anyone, though! Fair is fair.

There are two types of disability and even those drawing are allowed to work so many hours per month so before you go reporting people make sure you have your facts straight first. I don't think anyone that is drawing disability and working (illegally) is going to just willingly share that information with everyone in town. I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass I would just hate for you to falsely report someone.

The only way you can leagally work while drawing disability or ssi not ss is the program that helps train disabled people to help them be able to work. You can draw for so long until you complete the program and are working then you can not get disability benifits after that so whoever is telling you they can is just covering. Check out the website or better yet call. There is also paper work etc to be filled out and it is monitored so there is no under the table cash in the program. If it's ok why do they only work for cash? Now on ss you are allowed to work so many hours and it does not effect benifits.

report um report um report um. thats why the systems going broke cause of the crooks. if there able to work why do they need government disability checks. if you are able to work why would you draw a goverment check because youre disabled. whether its mental or whatever working is working and there getting paid. why should they get a check if there working anyway? they get payed from the person there workin for.

Yes you can work under certain conditions and still draw disability benifits but you have to report it. The ones who are working for cash are committing fraud and will be in big trouble when they get caught. I belive this is what everyone is fed up with and I also belive these people should be caught and held accountable for overpayments. Honestly, how many of these people who are working and drawing are reporting it? I also agree with the poster on the post saying these people are stealing.Therefore they should be reported. If you do report someone for working and drawing and they are doing it right no harm done but if their not they will be held accountable. Here is a good site that tells more:

It is adjusted that's why many people don't report they are working and get payed cash. You must report all work activity to the Social Security office. Also the employer is responsable for filling out forms and holding out taxes etc. the same way they would for other employees.

They are suppose to report all work activity so their benifits can be adjusted. They might not share it with everyone in town but there are always people who know. If someone is reported and they are working legaly then they have nothing to worry about ,because the paper work will be filed and it will show up therefore, no investigation will be needed but if they haven't notified the office that they are working and filed the proper papers then an investigation will proceed.

I think these people stealin from the ones who really need it are sorry pieces of shi~. He!! the gov is constantly saying it's goin broke and these people are the problem. If your disabled you are unable to work and if your working you are able to work and don't deserve it. He!! if you can work and get it to why don't we all get it then we can all drive new cars like some of these pieces of shi~ do. Everyone know who they are. You hear people talking bout them all the time. 1st off if they wasn't doing something wrong they wouldn't wont cash and they wouldn't hide it. Damit is differnt when someone is really disabled but these people who draw work get food stamps tn care and everything else they can steal based on lies are just plain sorry and yes they are theives. The ones working them are just as sorry. He!! give the jobs to the ones who are not cheating. There are plenty of people who really deserve disability and plenty of people who need a job who don't cheat the government. There needs to be a movement to get all these people caught! I don't care how you try and justify it; it's wrong! There are so many people who deserve and need it but are denied then you hear about these people who don't and it makes me sick. I hope every damn one of you are caught and have to pay back every cent you got. If your not cheating and don't think your doing wrong report that your working! Simple report these people; help out the ones who get benifits the right way and the ones who deserve disability and maybe help yourself out so that theyll be some money for you when you deserve it to.

+1 this is the best post of this thread,BYTCH about real problems O.P. not about people actually working.The reasons this country is broke all the time are EXACTLY what "yea but" has posted.It has NOTHING to do with disabled people working a little on the side.My guess is that the original poster tried to get disability benifits themselves and was turned DOWN.Now they just want to spread hate.YEA thats it go ahead and admit it and,then get over it and quit BYTCHING about it.

I dont mind people drawing disablity checks if they are disabled. I do mind these women drawing all this money who just spread there legs to get pregnut to draw checks. They can work, and dont. Pay for the baby sitter, make them work. Two hundred per child and themselfs, three kids, mom and they get 800 a month food stamps. I work and cant spend that much money on food, that is to much. I work and clear 800 a month to pay all my bills. I have never got one check to help on any bill, and Ive never asked. They dont work and make more than me, its not right.

I think the people who are really disabled deserve benifits but the ones able to work and lie to get it and work anyway are low class scum and so are the ones who pay them cash nowin they are cheating and lyin to get checks. I say if you know someone working and not turning it in you should report them beacause thay are criminals. Report them. the ones saying not to are probly breaking the law.

You better watch out or report you are working.
