Lighthouse Church in rickman

dose anybody know if the lighthouse church in rickman tn is a good place to go.theres people that tell me not to go because there were something happen there.

I have heard some things about the Lighthouse but I have never been there myself. I am working with a new church in Livingston that should be a pretty cool thing...if you are interested let me know.

What was you told? I went there a few times and it seemed like a good church. It is just to far a drive for me, but everyone was really nice to me and my family. You can't belive everything people say. Some people just have negative personalities and spead negative ideas!

This is true, which is why I did not repeat what I heard. If people really want to know what the Lighthouse is like, they should check it out themselves. I cannot speak to it either way because I have not been there.

well i came out of one church i just didn want to get into a mess like i did before.I was told they was people that left and the pastor left town,,,I was just asking.didn mean to step on any toes

I am the pastor of the lighthouse in Rickman. We are a True God Fearing church that believes Christ and His shed blood is our ticket to heaven. And just like others have said, you can't believe everything you here because i would say that none of these people have first hand knowledge of anything they have told you. We would be honored and priveledged to have you attend our church. We have a youth ministry, children's ministry, jail ministry, outreach to those in need ministry, praise and worship, pure and unadulterated preach of the word of God with souls being won to Christ on a regular basis (73 in 2008 alone). Praise be to our God and Father for his blessings!

I have been to the lighthouse many times the church is a very good place. The people are filled with the spirit.

I also heard the Lighthouse church is a Spirit Filled Church it has to be 73 souls won in 2008 alone wow that is awesome sounds like to me that the only thing happening down there is a true work of Gods Kingdom. Keep up the good work Pastor
and remember when you go about doing the good work of our Lord and Savoir there will always be things said that tries to tear down the work of God

I also attend the Lighthouse church in rickman and I know that i can speak for the whole church in saying that we would love to have anyone that does not have a home church. In the last 4 weeks our youth and childrens ministry has had over 9 kids saved and thats within the last 4 weeks! MAN GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! GOD IS WORKING IN OUR CHURCH and some wonderful things are happening!

well people let me tell you i went there for about 3 years i went when it was down here in town and things went on that shouldn have and i went to the one in rickman i just hope that u r doing better now.i hope you are doing stuff with the children's im not putting you down.i just hope you are doing better because when i was going people was leaving left and right.because so much happen i dont even want to go to church anymore.so becareful what you do because sometimes there is people sitting back waiting,watching,listing,and getting hurt.That is the LORDs house.I hope someday i will get my fathback.just dont put your fath in man because you will get hurt every time.and if you say your doing good im gald for you all.

well they must be doing great and be doing something with the youth and children 9 saved that is awesome i dont see how anybody that claims to have the love of God could say anything about that after all the bible says in luke 15:10
Even so, I tell you, there is joy among and in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner person that repents they have had 73 repent the angels must be having a party if the angels in heaven are happy why cant we be happy with them

Gary and Anita were both questioned about this topic by officials and lied. They WILL deny this. To find the truth, all you have to do is a little digging. These were not minor criminal charges. These charges varied from misdemenors to criminal to federal. This involved local authorities across several counties all the way to U.S. Marshalls. Am I bitter? No, not really. What's done is done. However, it is important that you and your Church understand the kind of people you are dealing with.

As for the "climb to fame and fortune"? I have always heard the rumors. Do I believe them? As I said it is not my place to "judge". However, I would not put ANYTHING past this duo. Being a Christian myself, I hesitated when I began typing these words for you to read. Doesn't seem like it, huh? Seeing that I have so many negative things to say! I guess I just feel that if you and your church are struggling with the "intentions" of Gary and Anita, you should know at least a very small part of what I know. Please consider what I have said here. This is not just to "bash" for any hard feelings I have.

Do you find it strange that they up and left a church they started from the ground up? What brought them to you? What "forced" them from the congregation they loved so dearly? Was it meant to be that they come to Texas and join you and your church? Are they escaping from skeletons or following God's will? These are questions you seek answers for. I've given you a VERY small example of what I know. PRAY HARD AND PRAY FAITHFULLY. Feel free to respond. Be aware of the doubts you feel. But most of all and this is simple- JUST PRAY. Has HE ever let you down?

Judge not that you be judged by your own measure. Even if these accusations are true, it's not up to people to judge them. Come judgment day, we all will have the same JUDGE.

If you are replying to me, I am not "judging". I am simply replying to the concerned church member from Texas. Please reread my posts. I stated and continue to stand by those same points you are making. I do feel that if that particular church has questons it is my Christian duty to help in any way that I can. Also, please note that I repeatedly reminded them to pray for the answers they seek. Again, I am simply stating facts not rumors. If you are not referring to my posts, I apologize but glad I have made this clearer for anyone who thinks I enjoy "bashing" anyone.If I had a way to email them directly, I would of chosen that route to of avoided any uncomfortableness this may have caused.

Why have so many people quit going to the Lighthouse? I have been told that a lot of the members that helped start the church quit a long time before Gary Davis left? I am trying to find a good church to go to, and I was thinking about going to the Lighthouse. I have heard good things and bad things about it.
