committing suicide is cowardly when the person committing suicide forces another person to finalize the act (I.E. the truck driver in this case).
Suicide is selfish when it is done in front of witnesses.
An act of suicide where another person has to witness the act or the outcome of the act is all part of the person wanting to be found, wanting to be seen... It is their way of saying "I did it, and you all saw me do it... now deal with it"
If the person wasn't concerned about being found, they would have committed this act far away from anyone, somewhere they would never be found.
its like the old adage, "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"
for better or worse, it is human nature and animal instinct do perform in front of peers
