New Downtown Restaurant

Does anybody know anything about the Blue Sapphire Restaurant and Lounge? It's going in where the Roundhouse Grill was.

All I know is it is going to be like a restaurant/lounge during the day, and a nightclub in the evening.

I think the original tenants had a club in mind. It had the decor for it.

I cannot wait for this restaurant to open. As I a resident of this town and a DJ I would love to work there as a bartender or DJ. I'm just not sure Livermore is ready for a night club, depends on the music.

I live in Livermore, not sure why it says San Jose.

I agree, Livermore has tried the night club thing a couple of times, even for the teens, and it just doesn't seem to work. Either not enough interest, or to much violence.
It says San Jose because that is where your IP address or something like that is linked to.

I heard rumor that the Old "Roundhouse Grill" was going to turn into a "Red Robin" anyone else heard that one?

There's a liquor license notice in the window for Blue Sapphire.

I heard that the old Roundhouse Grill was going to be a Gordon-Biersch. Livermore does not need a night club or any more shi-shi restaurants that will close within months of opening. Livermore needs more family friendly restaurants down by the movie theater. A Cold Stone Creamery or some other ice cream store would be nice too.

Have you tried the new frozen yogurt store downtown? Very good.

As far as a Gorden Biersh, I had heard that too, but that was just a rumor, it is indeed going to be Sapphire Lounge. I have not heard anything about a red robin, I wouldn't think that would be a good spot for a red robin really, not in a store strip.

I would love to hear more about this! I am just starting across the street and would love to bartend/cocktail there. Any info please let us know!! The sign says opening fall...who is opening it?

I think this place is an awesome idea. livermore needs a nighttime lounge other than the bars and wine rooms. We dont need more family freidnly places like a cold stone cus we already have 3 ice cream places on 1st street. Im a business major and after reviewing the 1st street business and their success over the years this place is promising. I hope it does good.

Yes, we tried the First Treat Yogurt shop and all four of us ended up with severe intestinal upset shortly after eating it.

Sick from frozen yogurt? Wow your family must have weak ass bodies.

I'm wondering if maybe you all at something else in common with each other? I've eaten there with my husband and two daughters, also a couple of friends at various times and have never gotten stomach upset. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Think back to that day and see if you can figure out if you all ate something else that was the same, or drank something off.

Yea that Yougart is terrible, it is way too soft, overpriced and no taste. Try to hide it with all the candy cookie topings. Dont get caught up in the hype. TCBY is so much better.

Woes anyone know the phone number to that place or anywhere where it might be listed yet?
