Sewer and Water rates

heard one alderman say, the ass clown will break a tie again,and it don't matter cause the taxpayers the no votes represent can live with that one vote he got elected on.funny thing is the county seats water plant cost half as much to build and half as much to run ,but of course they don't have an ethenol plant sucking up a million galons a day like us, do they??

That's true but Hillsboro isn't receiving tax money from an ethanol plant. Also I think our plant only sucks up 1/2 million gallons a day. The grain trucks are hard on the township roads but since local residents get all the ethanol they can drink for free, it's a good trade-off.

Trucks aren't screwing up the township roads,There the city roads NOW.

heard the sewer rate hike was voted down,so there must have been one " yes boss" asleep when the vote was taken, Look for the Mayor to VETO that vote and raise the sewer rate with his ONE VOTE .

Hope they don't get mad and shut off my sewer!

hey tell me it aint so. the council meeting was delayed 8 min. cause one of " Yes" boys didn't show. hell they voted to start at six ,now their gonna start when ever their boys show up.OR maybe it was because ,the City Administrator was changing the AGENDA before the HIS meeting could start. we though the agenda was set 48 hrs before the meetings started. hummmm maybe JUST A LITTLE ILLEGAL ,MR ROBERTS???

I think that every one of the Alderman/Alderwoman that voted no to the time change should show up late every meeting just to see if they would delay for them fatboizs. If not, I would ask the "City Attorney" how to remove all votes from the yes man that couldn't show up to the meeting on time like he voted for!

We all know they run this fricking city just the way they want, it is no surprise to me. By they I mean the six a-holes, that is two in the front and the 4 to their left or on the east side of the hall!!!!!

where does the WATER BILL MONEY from THE MINE go??
The city receives money for water,They Don't Treat,
They Don't transport,and at this point in time They Don't realy supply to the mine.Has anyone ever realy seen what that money buys?? How much of a rate increase will they want to cover the cost of a product when they REALY have to supply UNTREATED WATER TO THE MINE?? Remember ,THE City is planing to sell GRAY WATER from the Sewer Plant
also,what will that money go for?? Raising rates for water that comes from a new water plant that is suposed to supply treated water fastedr ,99.9% purer,sounds like this new plant ain't quite what it was put up to be, does it???
