The Hut is coming back to Litchfield?

Okay not really, but Yum Brands has decided to rename Pizza Hut "The Hut". So for those who actually went in there who had memory skills at the time discuss the old Hut. I just remember the building/location/closing, but don't remember being in there.

It was a nice little country resturaunt and the food was fantastic,Katie was the owner little old lady got up at 4:00 every morning and made pies from scratch and was they ever good.Miss the place still remember the clock on the front of the building.

Don't lower yourself to their level. Prayer is the answer, not a blackheart spewing forth venom of the devil.

Oh yes Miss Delight, prayer is truly the answer. Miss Delight, do not be mad at God for your mother and father. God has a bigger plan for all of His children. I assure you Miss Delight, that if your beautiful parents had God's love in their hearts they are asking God to help you understand that you make life so hard on yourself with your petty gripes. Miss Delight you cannot change the city or Mr. Weber with the hatred in your heart. You need to let go of the anger and take the Lord as your Savior. Then and only then Miss Delight will God's love shine through. And never forget Miss Delight that we should all, each and every one of us, spread the word of our Father. I can only pray each day for more answers Miss Delight, till I finally find my reward in the arms of Jesus.

You are talking to the wrong person on this thread stryker!!! Worm started a thread asking for people who remembered the old Hut and AD responded to that post. Maybe AD goes on rants every once in a while, but she was trying to do what this site is supposed to be used for on this one. Brother Rob just seems to be one of those people that well..........uhm..........yea h, he's one of THOSE!!! Maybe "Brother Rob" should practice what he tries to preach and leave people to themselves!

Worm..I remember The Hut!! It was awesome food. and AD was right on the money with what she said... 100%. Katie did bake pies everyday and a local Alderman is her grandson. No other place in town could compare to their food!!

Yes indeed, there was nothing like a fresh apple pie from the Hut. I would almost bet they could still smell them when they bulldozed the place down.

I remember going to the Hut with my Dad. I would always get the open roast beef plate. It was sooooo good!!! I still get it today at different places but nothing compares to the Huts!!! My dad would always have a piece of pie also and he always said how good it was.
I have to admit... the only reason I opened this thread was because worm said The Hut is coming back to Litchfield. You got me worm! I was all excited for a second!!

There will never be another Hut Katie is up there in heaven and she is making everyone happy(food wise)

been to the hut, been to the dixie market...Lay's, Mixes and Schoens too...now go to walmart.

I remember them all and yes the doughnuts at dixie market was awesome don't like wal-mart go there only when I have to.
