traffic lights/Stop signs

Today i stopped at the traffic light(old rt 66-4 lane and rt 16) and my turn signal was on so long waiting to turn that my battery went dead(emphasis added).These lights are way out of sync

North/South travel in this town is horrendous at times. The intersection that you are talking about Vet is one of the worst. There has to be a car already in the left hand turn lanes for at least 5 seconds before the lights are ready to change for that change to actually happen. Nothing pisses me off more than to be the first vehicle at that turn lane while traffic is still flowing East/West down 16, only to have the left turn lights never change over for you. If the lights are timed to run each direction for a predertermined set of time, does it really make that much of a difference if the left turns are set to change each and every time whether there is a vehicle there 5 seconds before or not? I think DOT set these things up like they thought we were Springfield or something. Absolutely no reason to run the East/West traffic for as long as it does in my opinion. There's times when you can sit at the IGA intersection and watch traffic out at Burger King make it all the way through that intersection before you ever get to move.

Much like everything in Litchfield, they are so screwed up it is pathetic!!
Don't really understand what the hell the left turn signal is there for at any of the lights. I have set there long enough many times and no traffic is present so what the hell I just go ahead and make the turn, will probably get burned for it sometime!!
The way these lights are set is a crime in itself.

any body that drives in litchfield after 6 pm gets caught in the traffic jam on state and union, stop complaining, Butler And Barnet have the same problem, isn't your safty worth the wait????

The King elects to cut through Ariston's parking lot instead of waiting at that verdamnt stop light. Due to the incompetence at other N-S intersections, he will pass through Walgreens, and UJ's.
Don't even get him started on the asinine railroad tracks. By the way, what happened to that $200K spent on engineering an overpass a few years back??? I guess we're not supposed to remember that.
