No truly Christian church can ever affirm homosexual behavior, which the Bible repeatedly condemns.

Will You Take a Lie Detector Test, Maggie Gallagher?

if she agrees to take a polygraph test. We have made arrangements with the highly regarded New York City Polygraph Examiners, which has an office located very close to you in Westchester, for you to take a polygraph test.

Apparently you have never READ the Bible, or you would know better.

My belief is that no true Christian would be afraid of the public knowing they supported denial of marriage to same sex couples.

I challenge you to answer for them. Why are these groups going to the same activist judges they criticized and asking to be shielded from the law? Why are they so afraid to let the public see how their money was raised and who contributed?

That doesn't sound like the kind of behavior an innocent person would pursue.

I have not heard of anyone who contributed money to help Same Sex couples gain equality going to court and asking for exemptions from campaign finance laws or to have the public record kept secret.

Matthew 5 21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shall not kill:(or murder) and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment. Once the kingdom of heaven had come, it raised a new standard; for now it was not only murder, but anger that puts us in danger of the judgment. 22 And whosoever shall say to his brother Raca, shall be in danger of the council; but whosoever shall say thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Matthew 25:31-46 The Sheep and the Goats 31"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. 32All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. 34"Then the King will say to those on his right,'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37"Then the righteous will answer him,'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40"The King will reply,'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.' 41"Then he will say to those on his left,'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.' 44"They also will answer,'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' 45"He will reply,'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.' 46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

God created me for His reason. Who are you to judge?

Why can't Xians understand that marriage is a legal contract between a couple and The State? It is "...by the power vested in me by the state of [insert one of fifty]..." that the clergy is even allowed to perform a marriage. Any religious ceremony is OPTIONAL; the legal marriage being licensed and confirmed by The State!

To all Mainers, if you believe in equal rights, if you believe in the dignity of all of your citizens, I beg you to get out and vote NO ON 1 tomorrow! Every NO vote is needed! Don't do like California did and shamefully vote to take away peoples Constitutional rights! EVERYONE in Maine deserves equality!

Daily Horoscope for December 16

Capricorn

Today's New Moon urges you to get to grips with something that's been weighing on your conscience recently. Do something about it, dear Goats, preferably before Christmas Day. Think how much better you'll feel when you've finally faced up and taken some concrete action over it. You'll wonder why you waited so long before doing something about it.
