KSLA discovers Linden, TX officer involved in shooting has a past

Haven't heard the whole story. The officer better hope he can explain why the guy has a bullet in the back. I can go with shooting someone for hitting you with a shovel but not as he is running away.

It never stops! Gotta love a guy with a badge!

Don't know cuz the investigation isn't over. But maybe since the guy that was shot attacked the officer is why the gun was pulled. Have you ever been cracked over the head real good with a shovel? Maybe his bell was literally Rung who knows till the investigation is over. That is when we can make our minds up on what must of happened that night. Sure is alot of this going on lately though. Thats why I stay home.

The way I understand it. The cop was not only too old for the job but he is a rasit and uses excessive force.
I think he got just what he had coming.
Hit that ole sucker again.
He should have stayed in Bowie county and tazed people in hand cuffs.

Let me tell you what to do.
You file an open records request under the freedom of information act.

You should file it to each and every place you know of that he has ever worked.
It should read something as this.
Be very exact on what you ask for as far as his personal file.
You have a right to everything except medical records and SS# along with phone numbers and address.

Here is how is should read.
To Alton McWaters
The address to Linden police.

Title it, Dear Officer of Public Records.
This request is made under the Texas Open Records Act, Article 6252-17a which guarantees the public's access to information in the custody of the governmental agencies. In accordance with Sec. 4 of the law, which requires the "Officer of Public Records shall promptly produce such information for inspection of duplication, or both, in the offices of the governmental body."

You should word it some what as this.

"I respectfully request <copies of, access to> the following information.

Documents, letters, memoranda, reports, audio/video recordings relating to the incident.

Be very exact in what you ask for.
Being you are dealing with the county of cAss you will most likely be turned down and told to go through the Attorney General office.

Just write them the same letter and also explain why they want to denie you your request.

They are to respond with in ten working day's.
If I can't get help from the county.
I can help the people who are harmed from the county. JMO!

This same county fought us twice on open records.
They lost twice.
Yet there isn't any way to tell if you get accurate info.
Just do your best.
The county needs to be turned up side down as shook!
This will up set the local freaks.
They should be up set.
