what happened

Over summer a few stories was picked up about Sagebrush leaving over night and CountrySide BBQ moving in.

After they moved in a lot of the same employees seem to still be there.

Recently, I noticed the signs say Sagebrush again...

Did the owners just try something different for the summer?

I've eaten at the BBQ place, and was told that it was still owned by the same company as Sagebrush, but some of their restaurants are turning into BBQ's. Their rationale is there are lots and lots of steak joints, so maybe they would be able to compete better in the less crowded BBQ format.

Country Side BBQ was suppose to be a Marion place originally and I dont think the Sagebrush in Denver ever changed.

Odd. I guess you are saying they wanted to try out the BBQ ...kind of like a demo...but Lincolnton probably wasnt the best place considerider Sagebrush is the only actual SteakHouse we have...Ryans is more of a Buffet Only type place now.

Seems like the test would work better where they had a Longhorn, Roadhouse...etc

Buster is right! Rednecks love hamburgers and Lincolnton is now full of rednecks! We didn't have this years ago. The necks came from West Va., Gastonia and a carry over from Charlotte. Yankees are worse. They are loud mouthed and think they know it all! Rude and sloppy with poor taste. Hey remember when the Lincoln House was class! Now look, a redneck beer joint with one murder under their belt. Remember shag dancing a Southern thing! Nothing worse then watching a fat beer drinking yankee trying to shag. Oh well we have some private places they can't go.
