Stevenson High 1999 football hazing incident back in court.
A notorious football team hazing incident at Stevenson High School is back in the courts a decade after four students were found guilty of disorderly conduct for subjecting underclassmen to a degrading team initiation.

good---jocks and their coaches who still perpetuate this kind of "right of passage" and group acceptance---need to find new healthier ways..clear case of civil rights violations these days--the civil right to be a human. Pay up jocks and coaches who by now I'm sure are North Shore rich.

It's been 10 years, it was a stupid prank to being with and punishment was vetted out in 1999. This guy really should get over it and get on with is life. Talk about a "poor me" person.

Doubt he will get anything close to $150k, but will probably get settled. By the way, Tiquion (one of the defendants) is currently serving a 120 year prison sentence.

Do a little research on this chump and you will quickly find out he is nothing more than a con artist. He almost had me out of a few hundred a year ago on an apartment scam. Luckily I did some research on him and he was arrested. The case will be dismissed. He has nothing but his own word, and when you look at his record, his word won't be worth shit in this suit.

You're right! A quick google search revealed that Tiquion was found guilty of raping and sodomizing a 78-year old woman back in 2001. What a piece of human excrement! So what really happened to Shinas? This article isn't very clear on the incident. Did another player stand over him naked while Shinas was sitting or laying down and when Shinas tried to get up his face touched the naked dude's butt? |

Ok, I searched around and discovered that the players made Shinas do something called an "atomic situp." Shinas must have been laying on the ground blindfolded and then the blindfold was removed during the situp and his face ended up in the naked dude's butt.
It's disgusting and definitely hazing. However, I find it difficult to believe that this one incident by itself caused lifelong problems for Shinas. |

This Tiquin fellow sounds like a real gem. I wonder how his buddies in the high school incident feel about having supported this jerk when they were in high school. He likes physically humiliating and overpowering vulnerable people. I wonder how they ended up. They must be proud of themselves.
