I'm very sorry for what happened to him, but I gotta wonder: why have a safe if you're going to leave it unlocked right after letting two strangers into your house?

it is a sad state of affair we have in this world.
so sad.
we all, including the elderly have to be very careful when opening up the door to anyone.
this should be a good reminder to us all. dont open the door to anyone you do not know.

We are dealing with these FAKE PECO workers roaming our neighborhoods in the Towamencin area, and are doing a full neighborhood watch.

Regarding this poor gentelman, this shows the heartless people who are completely heartless, I feel so awful for him.

We actually contacted the State Police, Local Police, and the ran the plates on the vehicle seen, they were fake plates from Florida !

I as well hope they catch them, and get this man back what is his.

Sadly, Seniors are too trusting, and believed they were real Peco Workers.

I feel bad for the man, but who is really that naive to just let strangers in your house unsupervised or otherwise. On top of that, who leaves $25,000 in cash in an unlocked safe with strangers in the house. The man is what, 77, WTF does he need $25,000 cash just laying around. Put it in a bank lock box if you are hiding from the government or something. Or at least lock your damn safe.

in no way did he deserve this, he may have forgot to close the safe, a mistake on his part, but dont blame the man for having $ in his house, im SURE everyone out there, if they have afew $'s have so hidden for a rainy day somewhere in the house. and i hope these ppl that did this to this man get a payback greater than they can ever imagine!!!! one that makes then realixe what they did was wrong, honestly, id like for someone to go into there grandmother or grandfathers house and steal the most valuable things and then these guys find out there INNOCENT grandparents were robbed and see how they would feel abt it. sad i know to put it that way but its life, and they brought this all on there selves! i hope they rott somewhere for a long time and suffer!!!
