Ban Smoking Outdoors Because It Sets a Bad Example?

Absolutly no rerason to ban indoor or outdoor smoking,These anti-smoking bigots lost their moral crusade on second hand smoke the day they went for out door bans..........the science doesnt even back up any plausible reason for indoor bans except where hate is the motivation to criminalize smokers...........

i agree, ban outdoor smoking as it sets a bad example for children, bring it back indoor where it BELONGS.

I believe the government should just outlaw tocacco. No somke...no problem. What smoker deserves rights?

Former vice president Al gore upon hearing the news stated'' We can surely find a way to apply the new united nations CARBON CREDIT TAX to such carbon dioxide output'', Mr. gore did not seem to happy to hear that such a tax would deeply bankrupt the anti-tobacco movement.

That's funny, I think everyone will enjoy it.

Maybe we should then ban all the nature killing, no emission control, maintenence equipment. Since those items do more harm to the environment in 50 hours of use then any smoker will in a lifetime!

Some of us put our butts in a pocket or roll only natural cigerettes that have no butts.

I am so sick of all of this bull about smoking. There are so many worse things our kids could do. Setting a bad example is ridiculous. We may as well just lock our kids in a closet and only let them out to eat and relieve themselves. What ever happened to the parents educating them about the risks in life? The schools pound it into there heads daily as well. In this day and age it is no longer the cool thing to do and besides the kids "can't afford" it anymore. It isn't like when I was a kid and they were a buck a pack. Let's face it the television and there daily lives show them allot worse things then smoking. Let's get real, the only people who are being punished are the current smokers who, if the haven't quit by now, lets face it, aren't going to. Just give us a break. And just remember, "Who do you think is going to take up the slack, when the revenue for the enormous amount of taxes that we pay a year", stops coming in.

Do not forget WWII, we are becoming a Nazi State. If you want a smoking ban do not forget your rights WILL be next.The Hitler type laws will not stop.

I quit smoking one year ago today at 10:30 am.

First, they make people go outside to smoke, now they want them to go back inside??? Now I see why they need government to make decisions for them.

I'll have to admit that's funny as hell, is it yours? PS, it's wrong on one point, there was $6.78 left to use, someone(likely a closet cigarette smoker)must have pocketed the rest.

I don't beleive smoking restrictions have anything to do with our becoming a nazi state, that idea is just BS put out by tobacco cos.
