More BS from the BS master:::Salisbury

i'm sure by now you all seen the latest paper from the Salisbury team....They(He) claims there was money in the city coffers before he left or make that...got blown out of office...Paper states that we have to pay sp much money for Worthies BS...if this proves true....We the people as Salisbury puts it,Need to get a classaction Laywer to sue those that took the money(the Whole Mayor and/or staff....i rest my case

Them idiots can say whatever they want.The financial review teams report said that all the way back to his first term they was taking funds from other funds.It also said they were the first to cheat the school system.They did not turn over the full amount owed to school system.It will come out.I'm just hoping the governor follows thru with what she said about any wrong doing found.The people involved will be charged.Besides the receiver has the power to appoint his own mayor and council.The last one had it.His whole team is made up of excuses and cover ups.he is a loser and failure..

agreed..they will and do say what they want.....Like i pointed out before...the last receivership,LS won and could do nothing but watch....Shame he's telling people they will get jobs when these people can read all about the last Receivership but don't want to cause they want to believe in salisbury.....

saddly there isn't much to talk about....We have only a few good business here....Unlike other cities that have more,nobody has a reason to come into Ecorse...If you live in Southgate-you have several stores...CVS....Riteaid...Kmar ts...Meijers....same in other cities...if you want drugs you come to Ecorse....RiverRat...i don't like saying this but if you think about it..it's true...there's simply nothing to offer anyone in outside cities to come in and buy Ecorse.Business look at areas that have lower crime....so now what????

If you look at the numbers Ecorse actually has less crime than LP Southgate Wyandotte.

But ! This is not because of the Police Presence.

It is because the residents get victimized a few times and they wise up. They secure things better here because of the lack of police presence.

If I remember right the Govorner even said we have been in the red for 7 years, that means we never had a surpluss when Salisbury was in office. I will look for the article and post a link.

You are forgeting our Resteraunts, Riverside Coney, Taco Especial, The Greek One on Jefferson, I forgot its name, a lot of people come here for those. We just need more stores in our area, but lets face it we don't have a lot of space for larger stores. Our big turnout is on the 4th and that realy got messed up with no fireworks this year. Its sad, worthy had all our money in his pocket and couldn't even shell out for a nice 4th of July, and I hate to say it but they sell drugs in the other cities too. You really don't have to drive all the way to Ecorse for drugs. Read the blotters they post the drug busts all day long.

No I am sad to say its because they don't respond or write a report unless there is actually still a suspect on site.

Also the people in these cities have a false sense of security, they think because they live there they can't be a victim. Let's face it being a theif has nothing to do with where you live. Its circumstance and convience

How about looking at it this way..If there is a drug bust it happens from wayne county sheriff. Not ecorse police..Family is not going to bust Family..No matter what..Now if you had facts on how many disturbances was family related to city workers it would be high..

salisbury's idea was to put a bunch of shops and hotels all along jefferson to bring in more money...worthy wanted to put in more low income housing so his family would have somewhere to go....sorry but again im with good ol larry on this, he had a great idea and it never really got the chance to blossom. I seen the plans, it would have been a very nice strip. And as usual we prolly wouldnt have had the money for it, but it would have really been worth it in the end...now you guys have nothing but more crackheads to look at...in city hall, thumbs up morons. Once again i laugh at you for your terrible judgement on worthy. You truelly can not open your mouths to put down anyone, because this is all your fault.

Lmao..Sometimes i view this thread as a comic strip...People i live in ecorse. If i don't vote for someone, It's because they don't deserve my vote..Yeah i know..Stup huh..But i'm old school. I still love to think my one little vote is worth a lot. So i take the time to see what each candidate has to offer versus each ones past history.If a person has been in office.His term has ended. he leaves office in debt.He does not get my vote.Neither mr. salisbury or worthy ever got my vote. Anyone can make up things or say things. that does not mean it would come to pass. A city cannot jump in and start developing anything without approval and funding to see it finished. If it does. Then it ends up as a once was thought.If you DO NOT LIVE IN MY CITY. Please show some respect to the ones on here who do have the best interest of the city in mind.Proof is just read the financial review from the governor.If needed i can take the time to point out the problems that go back to 2003..I know sometimes we all think we know what's best. i like to go by what's fact. Not fictional. I'm sure over the last 10 yrs everyone that has been in city office has had the best interest of the city. The truth is THEY FAILED. Oh..Since it's friday..I thought i would toss out some more info..Usually I love to make typo's because it's human nature for me to see who comments on it. When someone makes a typo the average intelligent person does not mind. because the mind has the ability to figure out what is being said. usually the person who points it out is either lacking..Or it just falls into the everyday lifesyle such as teacher or so.

hey you can say whatever but either way it was a good idea! Worthys idea of bringing in low income housing is just a way to bring more crime to the city. Not to say that everyone who has low income housing is a dirty theif but im sure there is more than normal, and it was just a bad idea. It would do nothing but bring the city down.
