Man Arrested for Five Murders in Beason - KTVI

I am so glad they found the killer!! What a waste of human flesh . May god be with the 3yr old girl that survived and with the family.
I hope that some day they find happiness again.

Let the family have him to do what ever thay wont to with him.He is as low as you can get in this world anybody that can kill a child does not need to live amoung us.Don't waste tax dollar's on them eather if you no with out a doubt thay did something like this then thay need to die not take up people's time thay are not worth it.

i wouldnt be quick to judge this man...the only reason i say this is because the daughter made a very viable point in stating that the person that did this should have been banged up cause the police noted in every article and made it very clear that the family didnt die without a fight....the daughter said that there was not a mark on his body...if your going to kill that many people than it took more than just him.....i have been reading on this story the whole time that it was being published....i also would like to know why if he just got done slaying the family why did he attend everything with nicole???? i wouldnt be so quick to judge that man cause alot of things aren't adding up to me

I agree...He allegedly beat 5 people to death and not a scratch or bruise on him. I've been following this from day one also. The police emphasized the tailpipes coming out of the bed of the truck, which Chris's truck does not have and never has had. He was at Nicole's house during the time of the investigation who lives in the same town so his truck was out in plain view the whole time and never a word was said. You would think the witness who lives there in the town would have noticed that it was Chris's truck since he did live there at one time and the truck had been sold back and forth within the same family. And I'm sure his fingerprints were found in the house because he has been there multiple times. Either this is a ploy to get the real killers to come out or they just needed an arrest to calm down the public..I don't know. I can't say for sure he's innocent but nothing adds up.

Why would the guy stick around town? If he did this massive slaying, would he not have some type of wounds to the hands? Beating 5 people and not having any type of wound? They say there was DNA at the crime scene other than the families which would mean someone else was injured. Did that match the suspect? Is the FBI or State handling or just local sheriff trying to solve a horrendous murder case?

Not trying to be a smart azz but the Pantagraph newspaper is from bloomington, Il , Beason is a very small town only a few hundred people they dont even have a gas station ,only a post office.
Bloomington is about 30 miles North of Beason.

Just today three more people were arrested for involvement in the murders. They were listed in the Lincoln news paper... Jason Harris, Jen Earnest and Sara Duncan for obstruction of justice.
It looks like you and many others could be right that others were involved.

The FBI and the state police are assisting in the investigation , Logan County Sheriff Department dose not have the resource to do a proper investigation and I commend Steve for being humble enough to call in the State police and Feds for help right off the bat. I can tell you this much Logan County Sheriff Steve Nichols is not a publicity hound and I would bet money he wants them cameras out of his face. He has done a good job for us in Logan County and he is handling the investigation into the Beason murders properly in my opinion.

You can bet this is supernatural, this kind of thing is bred out of humans, something was created to do this, you church people know things like that are out there
