I just saw the news regarding the story of Cloud 9 in Rosevile. I hope that the owner will not shut down his business due to the reasons the city council has come up with. I have lived here for over 20 years and have seen how the City of Roseville has presented itself. I can understand the complaints of the residents of Roseville, however they are ways that a business can work with them and come up with a plan that meets the needs of both parties. The City of Rosevills say they want to attract new businesses, however they're are certain businesses they do not want in their city, and that is businesses that involve bars, night clubs and any entertainment that attracts the wrong crowd. The reason I know this is that my family knows these types of businesses and owners and they have reported the harrassment of the Roseville Police Department. This department has told them that they will if any opportunity to shut them down. Roseville needs to realize they're are alot of people who have moved here from the Bay area and also from Southern california. I would think some of these people would like to see more upscale restaurants-nightclubs and bars in the City of Roseville. I personally, would like to stay near home and not have to travel all the way to Sacramento or surrounding communities to have a night out on the town.
