What is the worst neighborhood in The Bronx?

neighborhood? I am from the south Bronx neighborhoods are called blocks, you listed areas of blockes grouped together. Please be more spacific. I am from 156 St Anns Avenue Bronxchester houses.

ok; what blocks/housing projects are the most feared and which ones should people avoid at all cost?

How are the Marble Hill Houses?

Stay away from Webster Projects on Washington ave they are bad, Dont get me wrong none are great but some are worse patterson< melbrook And forrest projects are not good either but Bronxchester is bad

iam from the east tremont area of the bronx and today iam walking, minding my own business.i see two cops stop a man and just because i stop to listen to whats happening. one of the cops looks at me and says to me may i help you? and the other cop says keep on moving.i said to them that i live in the neigberhood. talk about rudecops.i have lived here 2and a half years never have i ran into such disrespecful police. they dont even deserve to be called officers, they are a disgrace to the uniform,the area is changing.

I live in The Bronx 34 years, let me put it this way, it is no the old dangerous Bronx anymore. Things are changing, back the the Bronx was lawless and extremely dangerous now it is as the other borough. The Bronx get a lot of bad reputation from media and people who have never live here and feed from the negativity of the past.

I have lived in NY all of my life - but moved to Florida in 2004 and now I am back in NY and in the Bronx - and by the way, Florida sucks..

The South Bronx is full of projects w/ crime. Certain shady neighborhoods in FL are similar to Wyandanch, NY in Long Island. Small run down houses.

You can't really compare FL to the Bronx because they are constructed totally differently. But, both bad areas are full of drugs, prostitution, illegal immigration issues and identity theft crimes. that's the only similarity

I never stop to look when cops stop someone to question them. I just keep walking and mind my own business. Obviously you were NOT minding your own business because you stopped to look and see what was going on. Why did you feel that you had to stop and look? If it was two drug dealers that had stopped and pulled guns on each other would you have stopped to look also? Would you have said that they were being rude? Why were they disrespectful because they told you to move it along because there was nothing to see there. Get over it and stop making a big deal out of nothing. I mind my own business and so should you. And by the way nothing ever changes in the Bronx. When I lived there 40 years ago the people in the Ghetto did the exact same thing. Whenever the Police stopped someone they couldn't help stopping to see what was going on instead of just minding their own business and staying out of it. Typical Ghetto culture.

Morrisania-The thug who shot the cop yesterday was from this section of the Bronx. Can we at least agree that Morrisania is in the top three worst sections of the Bronx?

The worst neighborhood in the bronx is LYMAN PL. OMG, drugs, fights, weapons, this lady that live at 13 Lyman pl, Ms: FOX closed the street every summer for a playground and they sells drugs in her house, can you imagine this the kids are there to play but instead they get some drugs to be happy, ashamed of this lady,FOX.

Soundview sucks. People are robbed on a daily basis here and I've heard numerous gunshot fights. People have died just behind my apartment.

East Morrisania-lots of drugs, prosititution and air quaility is horrible; I never had breathing problems until moving here
