I grew up in Overland Park. It was great until the
mid '90's. I lived in Olathe - but the traffic/attitudes were terrible! We built a house
in Gardner & love it! Everyone is reaaly nice &
area I'm in - there is virtually no crime!
If we want to go into Olathe/Overland Park, it
takes 10 minutes on I-35.

We don't know yet if Intermodal will even be built
as it's being reviewed by Corps. of Engineers...

Yes, the Intermodal will probably be built along with the NAFTA linkages down the road... Don't expect your property values to rise. The quality of life will go down because Kansas is too pro-growth for its own good. JOCO is way overpriced for the QUALITY of house that you can get. The Missouri suburban areas are more affordable and have lower property taxes. Many JOCO people don't realize this... Oh well.
