Obama T-shirt causes concern for KU

A picture of Gov. Kathleen Sebelius holding a T-shirt with the words "Barack Chalk Jayhawk" across the front has caused a bit of a stir with the University of Kansas.

Glad my son didn't decide to go to this college. Why should hard earned dollars be spent to endorse a candidate. Especially a liberal like Obama in a Republican State. Some politicians and businesses take their liberties way too far into politics. Let students make their own decisions.

I'm sure they are working on the McCain Jayhawk shirts.:)

Don't forget that Kathleen, a Democrat, was elected to her position. If you want to cry about it, go ahead. KU does not endorse the candidate... someone made the shirt for fun, and she, being a Jayhawk and a KU alumnus, thought it was clever. What about the MU shirt that says Quantrill's cause was "just?" I'm guessing MU wants nothing to do with that.
