Smell

I want to know what is the smell right outside of town on 27 (north out of town)--smells like alcohol mixed with something else--is it fuel? or something from the grain place? Just wondering.(I know this will get a lot of 'cute' responses like weed, blah blah blah...but I really am serious if anybody knows).

we smelled it also some kind of farm chemical?

Its probably your breath blowing back I'm you're face. That's my smart ass comment. My real guess is corn drying at co-op. You asked for it.

Was it moldy corn? That stuff sure smells like crap, kind of a chemical, alcohol type smell.

This is there every night when I drive home and it's just that one little spot right before you get into town. Really stinks. I feel sorry for those houses that are down over the hill. Peeeeeu.

Its co-op dryn wet corn. There is no chemical used. Propane is used too dry the corn so it wont mold when it stored.

If you're referring to the smell right as you're going down the hill past Immediate Care & by the city garage...I always thought it was a chemical they used to treat telephone poles. There's always a ton of them back in that lot & that's what someone told me a long time ago???

I think you are refering to Jayna's crotch if the smell your talking about is REALLY PUNGENT. Or it might even be Megans.

I am impressed. It took 9 posts before someone equated the smell with one of the ladies of Liberty.I bet that is some kind of record.

It's been smelly in College Corner too. Also, the drying of wet corn. We thought it was the sewer treatment plant. hahaha

I agree-I predicted I wouldn't even get an answer that made a damn bit of sense. But at least a few people tried to offer a sensible reply. My guess is by post #9, Newtoliberty had gotten out of school and had time to make it home to play on the computer before Mommy gets off work. For somebody "new" to Liberty, s/he claims to be pretty familiar with at least 2 people's personal parts. Must be a fast worker.

Those people moved away cause Liberty wont let a knew business come to town. THey live in another state now. Can't blame it on the cows!

I'm pretty sure it's the utility poles that are stored to the east of 27. The smell is stronger the closer you get to them.

I have never seen so many uneducated, unintelligent forums anywhere.
It is really disturbing to know that some of these people are probably neighbors.
