Former Davidson Sheriff Hege is setting stage for comeback

I'm looking forward to Sheriff Hege's return, He cleaned up Davidson County, I personally think he was set up. Hege was the only sheriff that would actually get out there and work right along side the deputy's Ive went through several license checks and he was there working. I cant wait, the sheriff we have now might as well go ahead and clean out his desk and hit the unemployment line, Cause Hege's coming back.....I will vote for him hands down, this is the only election that I will have ever voted in, I dont even vote for the presidency.....God Bless Hege!!!!

How can he be sheriff if he is a convicted felon? He can't touch a weapon. I don't see how it is legal for him to run again. We should keep the criminals out of the police department. There are enough in there already without electing another one to lead them.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of support this guy gets. Seriously, have you ever met him, outside of a campaign stop? He's a proven crook and a convicted felon but people want to put him back in office? Do we really want another 8 years of sideshow in a cartoon car?

hege lol ,he was good at stopping drug transporters on I85 so he could get the drug money to fianace his showboating toys while the thieves was having a easy time ripping off our homes .

Again, I want to know how a convicted felon can be a cop. He is NOT allowed to be near or touch a gun in any way. He can go to prison for having a bullet in his pocket. So how can he be a cop? Seriously?

I also would like to know how he could;and if there are enough ignorant people in this county to vote him in! He should have been put in prison he's worse than ANYONE he ever busted! Every time his face was on t.v. you could tell he was lying,scheming and scamming!

You dont have to have a gun to be a sheriff.. He could have a deputy ride along with him. its his views people want not the fact if he has a gun or not...

Thank God I won't be living here if he gets elected. The thought of bringing that thug back is sickening.

Oh, so you want your tax money to pay for an extra position to taxi a felon around all the time? Also, which views are we supporting here? The falsification of crime stats to make the sheriff look like he's doing something? Or perhaps the misappropriation of tax payer money? Is that the "views" we want back?

Guys...listen to me....i worked for the Hege faction. He pled guilty to several felonys, because he WAS guilty, and guilty of much more. You have no idea of what was going on behind the scenes of the courthouse, and the plots against his own deputys. There are three other deputies in the federal prison for less then what he did for over 20 year sentences.. But yeah, give him the position, and let him serve and protect with a stick, cause he cant carry a freakin gun.

He never done anything good. He was out for himself and he was so full of crap. You could tell when he was on tv, that he was a big LIE. He just got caught, and the stupid idiots that voted him in,, are so blind they still believe him. He will never make it back in. What idiot would vote for him..Besides, he cant even carry a firearm..LOL

I'm sure the meth industry will be happy to have Hege back. He doesn't believe Southern Davidson is his responsibility. After Sheriff Grice cleaned out the meth dealers in this end of the county, with Hege back in maybe they can make comeback.

The excuses people give for a return of Hege are ridiculous.

1st, he cannot carry a sidearm. How will he serve and PROTECT without one? 2nd, he was NOT setup. He was found guilty in a court of LAW and did not appeal the decision. Correction. He made a plea agreement. Yes, the guy who said "no deals" made a deal for a criminal offense.

He knew that this was his end of the county alright. He was just scared. I knew an old man that used to run moonshine with gerald years ago. Hes A crook and A cheat. I cant beleive the support that this criminal is getting from Davidson county. Well, Obama also got voted in. Like dad used to say, "ignorants I do dispise".

You know it amazes me how ignorant all these people are in Davidson County to vote for Sheriff Hege if he gets in. He's a convicted felon? hello. does anyone see the reality in that picture. How can someone be set up they have to have legal evidence..duh! I don't see what people on here see in him. And if he makes it it will because of the stupid people here voting him back in. Sheriff Grice is doing a well job, could be better I agree. Drugs are becoming a problem I know. But something needs to be done about it. We can't have convicted felons running the sheriffs dept. come on people use some common sence please!

Well should he have to do that? What if there is a situation to where he needs a gun say like in winston when those 2 cops got shot. How ridiculous would sheriff hege look pulling up with a state trooper in the car....use your head! becuase your not making any sence.
