I am looking for extreme couponers In Lexington that may want to share their secrets and teach me how to do this.

-The Herald Leader has terrible coupons. Buy the Kentucky Enquirer or Louisville Courier Journal on Sunday instead. If the coupons are good, buy multiples.
-Let others do the work, just follow their advice. I like Iheartkroger.com and iheartcvs.com . Slickdeals is another great site for coupon matching. Most have Facebook pages that automatically bring the info to you. Mypricesavings posts the new Meijer ad on Thursday nights, which helps plan the next week grocery run. -Match ads with coupons, buy multiples when a good sale is happening. Kroger has an awesome ad that matches well with the Proctor and Gamble coupon book from last Sunday. -You won't be able to do this at Walmart, they are too expensive and don't run ads. -Aldi has run milk for $1.49 a gallon since Sept. I usually buy 2 gallons at a time and just a few other things since most items are cheaper with coupons elsewhere. |

Thank you Uses Them Too. Couponing is not an easy thing to learn. I have not been able to find items on sale that I have coupons for but I am new to this and I am learning. Thanks for all the advice.

I think there should be some kind of club where women can get together and share coupons and help beginners learn all the tricks. Just saying.....

I started a few months ago and it hasn't been easy. I would get frustrated because I have signed up to few couponing websites but they are not from Kentucky. But the ones I did find are StockpilingMoms, Bluegrassavers, weusecoupons, cuckooforcoupons (She has Kentucky deals) Delicious Finds (has Kentucky deals), FaithProvisions, afullcup, couponingtobedebtfree. Also, I was able to download an excel transaction spreadsheet for all the stores. I got that from 6:33 woman ( I think she's a preacher's wife). Even though Walmart doesn't double or have sale ads. You can price match on all the stores plus use coupons for savings. Also, look for coupons that will give overage. Walmart does give overage. The overage will apply to some of your items. Like the Schick Disposable razor 12pk for $1.97. There's a coupon for the Razor in Smartsource insert 12/04/11 exp. 1/15/12 and SS 01/08/12 exp. 2/29/12. There's a $3.00 coupon inside the razor pack. Check out iheartthemart.com (He has alot of matchup prices for walmart). Check out couponing videos on youtube.com . There's alot of them. They have given me alot of items. I hope that some of this helps.

Also, if you need alot of coupons to start a stockpile you check the recycling places, buy on ebay, www.couponclippers.com coupondede.com . I found out there's three places that sells Courier Journal and kentucky Inquirer. Barnes & Noble, Joseph Beth, and Newsstand. You have to get to Barnes & Noble and Joseph early. They do sell out fast. Also, here's another site from Lexington Dollysdollar.blog.com . She's really good. Also, there are some free kindle ebooks on couponing. You can download the kindle software to your computer if you don't have a kindle.
I found out that Kroger is the best place. They double more coupons than Meijer. Meijer only doubles up to two coupons after that it's face value. They drugs stores are a little tricky. |

One other thing. Write to the companies. They love to hear from you. They will send you coupons and maybe samples. Also check out coupons.com . You can use different zip codes and get alot of coupons.

Those couponers are the bosses of shoppers. They'll roll thru with their binders, little mini-folders, etc and break out a few dozen...sorting them out as I scan. The total will go from $60 to .60, it's insane. That goon suggesting a pt job is just that, a goon.
You couponers may be a pain sometimes but in this day and age, who can blame ya! Go you! |
