brown or corman for sheriff!!!!!!

so with this forum lets see who is for who and jus kinda get a general idea just to see ill say for $hits and giggles. and no matter what these results turnout im hopeing everyone will make the "WISE" choice in november and vote for SAMMY BROWN this fellow is right for the job he has been in the worst situation a law enforcement officer can be in and still live to tell about it ......therefore he has alot of good advice and morals for his deputies and surely will steer them in the direction that takes them home to there families every night....SURE he cant prevent tragedies he isnt god but he is the better man for the JOB!!! so please LADIES AND GENTLEMAN vote BROWN FOR YOUR NEXT JESSAMINE COUNTY SHERIFF!!!!

I am all for Sammy. However it still is the old verses the new Jessamine County. Is it to late for Sammy to amount a campaign push to overtake Corman? With the recent loss of a family member will sympathy votes come out of it?
I still believe it is a popularity contest and not a thinking mans/womans game. Corman will only win because people know him and do not fully know he is not for a full law enforcement agency or really knows or wants to run one. I believe the sheriffs office has a swat team. Well that will go out the door as well as traffic enforcement. I really feel for those guys who want to do that stuff cause it will all come to an end.
I have heard from Sammy during one of his trips through my neighborhood and it has really made me think. I am all democrat but not at all voting for Corman. Sammy wants to grow into the county because the county has outgrown the sheriffs office. Wants to increase man power and patrol. You can not stop alot of the goings on in this county but Sammy can put a good dent in it. On the 21st is the forum and if I can get my old ass out there I will.

as far as the sympathy thing goes well lets say i went to the funeral of doodles mother and corman had the gaw to put his vehicle out front with his campaign signs on it and i saw that man shaking hands and smiling and talking of the election and as far as im concerned that of all places... WAS NOT THE PLACE TO BE DOING THAT ....come on u idiot wtf???? hey if corman wins from campaigning at the funeral hey let it be sammy is more of a man than too take advantage of a situation like that. sammy brown all the way there is no other choice. as far as sammy letting doodle go that will not happen.sammy has told me that doodle can keep doing what he's been doing for the last several years. that will be one thing sammy won't worry about doodle is good at what he does. just to bad he let kevin use his name to run for sheriff. it should be doodle for sheriff and kevin corman for chief deputy

Alrighty Mr. 8:19, if we're ALL nuts, for being for Brown, like you say. Then here's a valid question I am sure all of us want to know an answer to. We want ONE good reason to vote for Corman (by the way IT can't be Doodle or the fact he's a Corman). Can you give us one? Can you seriously pick through that narrow, uneducated and obviously unused portion of your brain. I personally don't know either candidate, but from what I have read about both (and not just on these forums) that it is obvious that Brown is MORE then qualified for the job. Now Corman on the other hand, well, hummm, uhmmm, oh, that's right, he has Doodle and he has Walker backing him, the current Sheriff. Who, by the way, according to public records, donated $500.00 to Corman's campaign in March of 2006. You can go to www.state.ky.us/agencies/kref/candmenu.htm to see for yourself.
At least he's not trying to run on the integrity issue. From the statements I have heard there are a few. I mean seriously, how can you sit up and tell County employees it doesnt look proper to be public about who you want to win the election, but yet accept a 500.00 donation from your boss who is a Co. employee? How come, is it, there are signs for Corman in some deputies yards but nothing in others. Can it be that, for one, they maybe worried about their job if he wins?
Now, here comes the really good part, Corman states in his ad, Jessamine Journal Oct. 19 2006. VOTE on experience( remember he was grandfathered in and worked part time), dedication( really, remember he was part-time and if I am not mistaken close to retirement till he thought he could become next Sheriff) and continued progress( for whom, the citizens of Jessamine Co. who haven't seen progress in the last five years, of which Corman has been CAPTAIN and supposedly running the S.O. or Corman's bank account.)(Hell, for 75,000+ a year I would want to be Sheriff. Yeah, believe or not, I read the budget printed in Jess. Journal for S.O. Amazing how pissed off you get when you see how much someone gets paid for sitting behind a desk doing????) OHHHHHH and Allen "Doodle" Peel Chief Deputy. IF Corman is SOOOOOO sure of himself would he need Doodles name? Brown states his name only, on his signs. UMMMM, sounds to me he's pretty confident about what he can bring to the table. Because you see, it p***** me off that you people think things go on like they do and NOBODY finds out about them. It p***** me off that you think we can't think and see things for ourselves and make an educated decision on the facts. Should have been on here earlier with this but I have been so appalled about it, that I have been running my mouth instead of my fingers. I witnessed one of the candidates "politicking" in full dress uniform and ON COUNTY time and it wasn't his breakfast or lunch hour and it was Thursday the start of Jamboree Weekend. He was seen with the good old boys, coffee cup in hand, cruiser in drive of HillBilly autos. AND I KNOW FOR A FACT he was there for over an hour and a half. What's up with that? Talk about one of those integrity issues. What about it folks? Wanna lay a bet on who it was? HERE'S a clue for you, it wasn't Brown or DooDle. Wonder what he would have done if Sammy was found doing that. WHOOPS, lost my head for a minute there, Sammy has to much integrity to do anything LIKE that, at least he does his campaigning ON HIS TIME.

I have seen alot of bad mouthing Corman and I had to get some facts. I found a flyer from Brown and I really like what I see. So I will put on here what it says. If Sammy gets voted in I hope we all will hold him to it. Also his statements to me to follow.

If you only knew Brown's true character you would think twice about voting for him. Corman is a family man with a great work ethic and at least he has some morals. Brown on the other hand, hasn't worked but 3 months out of the last 4 years due to "disability" and when he was working it was on his "women affairs"-- belive me I know from experiences of friends that were involved... not to mention that the only points he rides on all have to do with the freak accident he was in in 2001... any normal person would have shot the guy, too. It's sad enough his wife doesn't see the truth, however all you have to do is go around the sheriffs department and everyone knows of Brown's affairs, too. Who would want a lier, cheater and womanizer in office?? If he can do those things as just a deputy, who knows what would happen if he was elected into office?
