Im a single woman mother and grandmother and while I wasnt created to fight a man especially one pumped up on an intoxicant I will protect my family at any cost.These animals arent prepared to have to beg literally for their life so ill be damn if I wont be prepared to protect mine and my families!

Nuts is a good name for you , only the law obiding citizen will be the one handing over their guns The criminal will have theirs because they don't care , the law obiding citizen will be easy prey for more home invasions etc. do your homework look at the statistics from England , Japan , and other countries that have ban firearms and look at the rise in crime, also the sporting events as clay shooting , target shooting, hunting, etc will also be gone . Also what about the 70-80 year old people that the drug head thug decides to break in on , should they use their fist like a man I think not , always remember when seconds count police are only minutes away , you and only you are your first line of defense when it comes to protecting your family and yourself , the theater shooting is a terrible tradigy that should never have happen and may all our prayers and thoughts go to all the victims and their family's , it was a firearm used but also a firearm used to get his surrender , what happens when people like this kick the door in at your house you have to fight fire with fire and again this was a terrible tradigy and hope that guy fries for it , but it wasn't the firearm but the twisted mind of this killer that was carrying out this terrible act , he could have used a car or other everyday common things to carry out something like this it it's the people that carry out these terrible acts not the gun , example is 911 Bin Laden twisted mind brought together a terriost act and used planes and other people as the weapon , Point is there will always be these type of people to deal with weather a firearm used or not .

I think it makes you guys blood pressure rise. So calm down you sound paranoid. There are too many guns to take them all and there isn't a way to track all of them. I think it's mostly a political tool like many other things to throw attention away from things they're doing right before our eyes. Keeps us fired up and they do a quick trick on us. I'm liberal in most ways but I'll keep my guns and I'll use them if I have too!!!

Right you are Rudu , this is an endless argument with no real solution and instead of worrying about how to stop letting guns get into the hands of people who shouldn't have them , we should be making sure people who shouldn't have them should not be able to get their hands on them , the parol , the probations etc are far from what they should be there are converted felons caught with guns amended down or thrown out due to our Court system being nothing more than a business and seeing who can climb the ladder with more convictions under their belt . If the laws we have we're strictly inforced and made these criminals accountable for their actions would be a start, knowing what we know now about this killer in colarado he has not got a long history with police but I'm sure as always things will be comming out about him from friends family etc that were never reported or brought to attention which possible could have help stop this terrible action , but now is example time for what happens to twisted killers like this and our court system should see to it this is what happens , dont leave him on Seth row , if found guilty go right from the court room to the chair and should be televised to our nation live on tv , there's some good media coverage

The bad people who are going to break the law anyways are always goin to have their guns and then the innocent people like me who have them for protection against those people will no longer be able to! Therefore these shootings and other murders will climb to an even higher rate because of lack to defend ourselves! These people don't care about the law so why are they going to care if there is a bann placed on guns?!
