No. 1 on my hit list of dams to knock down is Hetch Hetchy. California would be better off without it and without the reservoir behind it. Ya think?

Dams? The more the better!

The Delta wold be a lake in wet years and a dried up salt marsh in dry years with out the dam things.

Damn!
Knocking 'em all down would force 3/4 of California's population to move back east (and back down south of the border). Or, it might provide a bonanza to the bottled water industry. |

The more the better? Yes, absolutely, except for Hetch Hetchy. Just think of the benefits of drying up San Francisco's source of water.
And ... we would have a second "Yosemite Valley." |
||||
and that would be a bad thing? |

Yosemite Valley, with all its granite, would be a great nuclear waste depository. And in knocking down the Hetch Hetchy dam, where would Frisco get most of it's water?
O.I.C. Now I see where you're coming from now. The ultimate solution for one of the most liberal cities in the U.S. |

As long as I get my water and Southern California gets it's fair share of Northern California water I say build build build the dams dams dams.
