Jim Bingham being mayor would be the worst possible thing that could happen to Lewisburg. Old croney put in the race by Bob Phillips and Barbra Woods.

I wish people running for offices could be up and up. One of the many problems in a democratic election is nobody does nothing for free. Most people do not run for the good of the community. Some do it for personal power, pride and greed and very few do it for the love of the community.
Did you ever wonder why new programs along with new good paying jobs are created just after the end of an election? Ever wonder why some people are relieved of jobs after an election and the new applicants are suprisely friends of the elected official? It is to repay contributors for helping during the campaign. This may surprise you but nothing is done for free.

I am for a conservative republicans.
Do we have any real conservatives running for the city?

I mean the type that believe in God, that believes you get what you put in life, the ones who do what is right for the people not hand out entitlements for votes.

The kind that encourages hard work, honesty and does not talk around real issues.
Did you ever wonder why areas ran by democrats with liberal beliefs in small towns are the poorest?
We need conservative values back in our government.

Need people like the forefathers of America!
Who believe in the people's rights?
Who believed in the separation of Church and State!
Not a bunch of hypocrites who stand and pray in public, strictly against Jesus Teaching on Prayer!
Pledge Allegiance to the Flag then break the Constitution rules called Separation of Church and State!

Last night my husband and I got to hear B.w. and m.f. speak as to what they had in mind as Mayor. I will have to say going into last nights meeting I did not think I would be makeing up my mind so fast. When m.f. spoke to us, he did not just play a song, this kid really has a plan. He came across with such passion and drive to want to make Lewisburg a better place. He did not just say lets make it better , he told us part of his plan, and it was great one for Lewisburg. B.w. well I must say is a nice and seemed to be well educated man, however he had no passion, no drive, and it was clear he had issues reading his speech. He gave the typical speech of lets do better, but no plan as to how, I don't want a person to dance to get my vote I want a person who can build the dance floor. I was not sure until last night but now its clear to me he is being driven by his wife. My mind is made and m.f. has my vote. I do believe M.f. can break up the good boy system and i think B..w. is just part of the good old boys

If he is so nice and seemed to be well educated then why was he driven by his wife. Not sure I understand why should his wife have to drive him to an event?

We want what is best for the community not someone connected and is in it to serve self. Even if an anti good ole boy gets in he or she will be outnumbered by the others. They just need someone who will speak and lay the plans of wrong doing out on the table so they don't try any good ole boy tactics. Which person is best for that? We need someone who will be pro small business and will bring in industry.
Not sure what term driven was used in during the last post.

if he was going to any good then were has he been in the last 20-30 yrs he has worked on city boards , his current board he sits on he was elected chairman in 1997....now i ask you, what has he done, he has been on the inside for all those years and nothing, but now he wants to be mayor. There is a reason and i want to know why, what does he plan to do different, or does he plan to vote more money to his prvt company like he has been doing?

Vote for Change, Vote for Progres, Vote for Experence!

Vote for a total outsider of the click, but local small business man who "has not used" the city, church or the click to help his many business open!

A man who has experenced the many problems, local small business experences, a professional that the click has not been able to run out of town!

Vote for Total Change, an outsider, for will the Click will watch him so close and that is the way local government should work Check, Check, double check and Balance!

driven implies , his new wife is the one who has been on several boards and president of a couple of groups. So its clear people think she is pushing him to run. is he not 1 or two yrs away from ret. at his job.

Just got home from a hard day at the job. Paid democrats rely on people like me.
I will probably vote for the bondsman. The other two are too connected and looking for either their best interest or to help friends. It is a shame that a name is so important in this small closed minded community. They don't like outside folks to come into the community because soon the vote will not be on their side. Believe it or not, many locals are angry with what went on under their own noses for years and would enjoy fresh blood running this city and county.

If you cannot tell who the outsider is, then why not vote for Farror, who lives closess to city hall, in case of an emergency and can walk across the street to city hall, the police stations and be the Mayor at work 24-7?

Farrar who lives 2 doors down right across from city hall and one door across the street to city police department in case of an emergency say no phones operated, where the Mayor was needed, who could be there already?

Is Farrar Small Business man! Highly invested in Lewisburg Small Business, started several small businesses on his own? Should know the problems small business trying to open here in Lewisburg face!

From the looks of his past, has no connections to the local click, would he be the only candidate watched so close, by the rest? That at last would local small town government hopefully would work the way it should?
Check and double check all at city hall, the Mayor and balanced by the next new City Council?
