Wrecks kill girl, woman Friday

Ashton (not Ashley) Reece is still fighting for her life at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She has not regained consciousness. Our prayers are with the Reeces and the Barretts.

Can you tell me how this happened?

I got to school with both of the girls. And our prayers are w/ both of the families. I grew up with Sky at the YMCA and she was a wonderful girl. But everything happens for a reason and 150 people came to christ through her. And this isn't the first loss that we've had in our little town of Wetumpka this year, Bryan Valliere of Edgewood Acadamy died in January. And a lot came to Chrsit through him. Thank you for all of your prayers we need them.

update: Ashton Reece is in a room on the trauma floor. She is still critical but said to make it. Please keep both families <Ashton included> in your thoughts and prayers.

skylor barrett was the most awesome person i ever met! we were just pretty much best friends! i love her to death and i miss her more and more everyday but she will always be in my heart! we shared a locker and its not the same! i love you skylor!

Skylor was an amazing person! she was so fun to be around. I miss the way she smiled and how she made me happy when I was down! I love Skylor!

Skylor Barrett was my sisters best friend.They grew apart as they got older.Even though Kimberly wasn`t that fond of her,I was.Skylor,was like...my role model.I tried to act just like her.When we stopped going to her church about almost a year ago,deep down,that is who I really missed.Not anything pretty much but her.The day she died,before we found out,my other sister Kasey,wanted to watch a movie that Skylor gave her.My family thinks God has been letting people know that something will happen.The youth pastor at Skylor`s church even said "I see a casket,but I can`t see the face.You all need to make sure you are all saved." Tony Astorga is the youth pastor.This should be a lesson to everyone.About 90% of teens are killed each year from car accidents.I know,how should I know,I`m only 12.But the truth is,you should have known that since you were like born! This is REALITY not a dumb game.So Skylor wait for us in paradise in we will see you soon! Also,everyone keep Ashtyn`s family <including her> in your deepest,and most wildest prayers.May God bless you all and Ashtyn,and Skylor! We love ya girlz!!

I miss Sky soooo much... she was always sweet and caring and she was my role model and didnt even know... i looked up to Sky soo much cause she didnt care if you were white black a geek or what she loved and cared for you... she was sooo Pretty and i will never forget her awesome smile..I LOVE AND MISS YOU SKY!

I dont know Ashton too good.. but she was very pretty to.. my sister knows her and hopes she gets well soon..

Pray for peaceful sleep baby and God will give it to you. If God can give her Mom peacful sleep He can give it to you too. All of you girls make good choices so you can see her again one day. Hey everyone, we were just lookin through some stuff & came across this site... y'all we miss Skylor so much! She was so sweet & so much fun to be around. We think about her & pray for Ashton and everyone else involved everyday... We're always talking about Sky & all the good times we had, KK & the two of us especially. Seems like we are always remembering more & more wonderful things about her. She was the greatest!
